A MUST DO!!! This experience was amazing. Feeding goats, picking your own vegetables, being taught how to make delicious Greek food, but the best part, the people. Nicole and Pota are beautiful inside and out, their warmth and welcoming spirit were the highlight of this experience. As a travel advisor who travels often I rate this one of the best things I have done in my 19 years of travel! Thanks so much Mama Gaia!!
An absolutely amazing experience and one I highly recommend for anyone visiting Kalamata! ✨Nicole and Pota are welcoming, loving, generous people who enjoy opening their farm to visitors. They genuinely want to provide authentic Greek food that is literally from farm to table. It was a very memorable experience 💕
A relaxing and enjoyable experience, where we really felt being a part of the Mama Gaia Family. Strongly recommended for families with children, especially for those who haven't been in touch with the rural side lately. Our hosts, Nicole and Pota, have been super helpful in the process of transforming us in skilled cooks for traditional Greek dishes.

Although my partner and I didn't actually end up going, due to schedule issues, Nikoleta tried her best to make it work for us and was very attentive and communicated well. She embodied the Greek hospitality we had been told about from back home. if we ever come back to Kalamata, we'd be sure to book further in advance and give it a try; I'm sure the entire experience is warm and exciting.

We had a wonderful family experience with Nicole and Pota at Mama Gaia.
Nicole has been super communicative from the first emails, and tailored us an amazing experience specific to our family needs.
All our kids (ages 7-15) enjoyed it a lot, and learnt a lot, and also the adults had a wonderful time, and got so many answers about curious questions we had about Greek daily life and some history.
Highly recommend!

Wij hebben een geweldige avond gehad! Geitjes gemolken, eitjes gevonden bij de kippen, groenten uitgezocht en geplukt. Met het gezin heerlijk gekookt en zelf kaas gemaakt! Veel geleerd en samen een mooie ervaring rijker. Onze jongens van 9 en 13 vonden het geweldig en wij ook!

Είμαστε μία οικογένεια με 3 παιδιά 8, 10 και 12 χρονών.
Περάσαμε πάρα πολύ ωραία κι όμορφα, από το να βγάλουμε το γάλα, μαζέψουμε τα λαχανικά και τα φρούτα, ως το μαγείρεμα και το γεύμα.
Η Νικόλ και η Πώτα είναι πολύ γλυκιές.

I wanted my son to get an understanding of how his great grandparents lived in Greece before they immigrated to America. He had a wonderful experience as did I. Thank you for opening your home, your farm to us, and experiencing such a wonderful tutorial on how to gather fresh produce spices make cheese and cook them all together in a healthy delicious way.
I highly recommend this experience for anyone who would love to have a delicious nutritious meal and a wonderful experience in Greece ‘n

This was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our time in Greece. We visited a beautiful, family run Messinian farm where we picked fresh vegetables, collected eggs, and learned how to make traditional Greek cheese before cooking a delicious meal together using what we harvested.
From the moment we arrived, our hosts made us feel completely at home with their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. We connected not just through food, but through meaningful conversations and shared values.
What made this experience even more special was the farm’s deep-rooted ethos respecting the earth, caring for the animals, and giving back to the land that has sustained their family for generations. It was both inspiring and humbling.

A truly authentic experience! At Mama Gaia, I got a close look at rural Greek life, learned how traditional Mizithra cheese is made, and tasted fresh vegetables straight from the garden. Μια υπέροχη εμπειρία που συνδιάζει την φύση, την παράδοση και τη χαρά της δημιουργίας. Το παιδί μου έμαθε πως φτιάχνεται το παραδοσιακό τυρί, μάζεψε λαχανικά από τον κήπο και συμμετείχε σε βιωματικά παιχνίδια που πραγματικά το ενθουσίασαν. Οι άνθρωποι στο Mama Gaia ήταν ζεστοί και φιλόξενοι και το περιβάλλον πανέμορφο. Ιδανικός προορισμός για οικογένειες και σχολικές εκδρομές. Σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε !
