I received a quote of $674 just to install a garbage disposal and a kitchen faucet (parts provided by me), plus $342 to replace two bathroom sink emergency shutoff valves. I wish I could give zero stars for this outrageous quote.

They came out to give a second opinion on a water heater today, and quoted $7500 to replace it. This included removing the old water heater, buying a new one, and labor for installation. Within an hour of them leaving I found the exact same water heater for sales at Lowe's for $1000 plus tax, meaning they were trying to charge me almost $6500 for installation and labor. Have it ordered and have someone else coming to install it Monday for a couple hundred dollars. Talk about a rip off. Highly suspect this has to do with my house being in a nice neighborhood. Beware if you use this company they will try to rip you off if they think they can.

This can differ significantly from retail units sold at big-box stores, which is why the pricing may not have aligned with what you found elsewhere.

Kitty and her company were my life savers. I was prepping for a Christmas party that was to occur the next day, and suddenly, as I was standing at my sink, water was coming onto my feet. My garbage disposal had decided to leak. I immediately called Maloney Plumbing, and within an hour, Tom was at my house with a new garbage disposal. I was rescheduled and I received a call to reschedule a 2nd time. I was speaking with the owner and she went out of her way to keep my appointment. The technician Tom came out with a drain camera and determined the he could try to snake the drain. It was thought that a jackhammering of the floor would be needed to remove some of the original steel pipe under the floor. Tom went ahead and ran 25ft. of snake through the line and opened it up to where the sink rapidly drained. What would have been a costly repair, ended up being a drain cleanout. Thanks for the great service and working overtime on a Friday afternoon to get the kitchen back in service!

What a great find! We live in an older home with older pipes. These guys are real plumbers. They have been around for a long time and are clearly very skilled and experienced, and able to handle any job, any situation. Tom was the plumber that came and responded to the call with an issue with my tankless hot water heater. He was kind, courteous, professional, and got the job done right. He also gave me a very fair price for the work he did. I would recommend WJ Maloney Plumbing Company to anyone in need of Plumbing work. Two thumbs up, and five stars for these guys!

Second time using Maloney Plumbing. Antony came to change a refrigerator water valve within a couple of hours of requesting the service; which is awesome. Antony (TonyMaloney) was assertive, professional, quick and on top of everything a very pleasant young man. Thanks to that quick fix, Lowes was able to install my new refrigerator the next day. Technician was extremely nice and professional (hence the second star). Accomplished the task efficiently. Service was absolutely overpriced, however. Installation of a faucet I supplied and two angle stops he provided. Total after knocking $100 off the price was $655 for a total of 1 hour of work plus two angle stops which should run them $10 apiece. I don’t mind paying for good work, but this tests the bounds of what’s reasonable quite considerably…
