We recently completed a bespoke European driving tour organised by Mike at Making Tracks, and it exceeded every expectation. The route through France, Switzerland and Germany was expertly planned, taking us along some of the most incredible driving roads we've ever experienced. Every day brought breathtaking scenery, spectacular mountain passes, picturesque towns, and outstanding hotels that were perfectly chosen. The attention to detail was second to none, and it was clear that Mike had put a huge amount of thought into creating an unforgettable driving adventure. From the stunning views to the fantastic roads, everything was seamless and made for an unbelievable experience. If you're looking for a tailor-made European road trip, I can't recommend Mike at Making Tracks highly enough. His knowledge, planning and passion for creating memorable driving tours are exceptional. We'll definitely be booking another tour in the future!

If you love Top gear you will love this Wow wow wow if you love the ethos of Top gear you will love this company. If you get lost or dropped for not driving over speed limits you will get left behind… classic top gear style. The routes are great and take in some incredible roads, the map books are informative and the hotels we stayed at were exceptional. Mike is a nice welcoming person, just do not dare to give feedback on the company, trip or his driving (don’t get me started on the out dated tomtom satnavs supplied) marco on the other hand is arrogance personified. Despite what it says in the first page of the tour book, no one will be in the middle or the rear of the pack, to help or guide those not willing to drive at 10/10ths, his sole purpose in the company is to be a parking attendant and drink G and T. Don’t forget you are paying him for the parking service. Would I book with them again? Never!!!!! In Mikes words “ fine “

We recently went on the Dolomites road trip with Making Tracks - Ultimate Road Trips. This was our 10th escorted driving holiday, but the first with Making Tracks. Throughout the trip, the organisation was excellent, with Mike and Marco working together seemlessly to ensure all aspects of the trip went to plan. Mike led each drive out at a good pace, with constant flow of information through the radios, whilst Marco often went ahead to secure parking on the route, plus welcoming us in a similar way to each hotel. All the hotels were of a good standard and the route in general took us on some fantastic driving roads. Despite the pressure of leading a relatively large group of cars, Mike was always polite, friendly and helpful on the road. We have already booked a trip with Making Tracks next year and we are really looking forward to it, and also seeing what they come up with for 2028. We would highly recommend Making Tracks - Ultimate Road Trips from the experience we received during this trip.

The Northern Road Trip was my first experience of a Making Tracks trip and it was thoroughly enjoyable. As a passenger across the 4 days I found the trip just as exciting as those who were driving. The radios ensured all cars, passengers & drivers could stay in contact and as a passenger I could view the beautiful scenery as well as the roads. The trip was incredibly well organised with every detail thought about with some lovely hotel choices and day stops. At 28 I was the youngest in the group but felt everyone was sociable and inclusive. Would love to do another trip in the future with Making Tracks!

Northen England - Had a blast last week with Mike, Marco & Heather on their Northen England road trip. This is our 4th event and in that, proof of how much we enjoy the excellent organisation, attention to detail, stunning roads and scenary. Austrian Lakes - Just back from our second road trip with Mike and his team at Making Tracks, this time to Austria. The attention to detail in his preparation and organisation made the whole experience so fulfilling. Once again the event delivered excellent value for money. Stunning scenery, excellent hotels, great roads and ultimately something we will cherish for a long time. Great to meet up with old friends and meets lots of new ones too. Looking forward to the next one ............ where too ? Pyrenees - Excellent trip organisation and pre trip information that was provided. Stunning scenery and roads with well timed rest days to broaden our enjoyment. Great to meet and mix with new people with similar interests. Our first time with Mike but intend do another with him at some point in the future .

Just returned from my second trip with Mike. Once again I was blown away with the professionalism, organisation and all round experience.
Was fortunate to meet a lot of new people (and seeing some familiar faces too !) while enjoying some of the best adventurous roads Scotland had to offer.
I can't recommend Making Tracks enough !!!
Already booked my 3rd trip and will have many more

Value for money beyond belief and prices that don't break the bank. These trips are so well organised, we went in two cars this time to double the fun. Waiting for next year's schedule to book the next one.

Originally sold to me by my husband as a holiday to Switzerland, in which we drive in our own car, and experience so many beautiful places along the way. Well what an experience!!!! From start to finish it was all amazing. Mike is just brilliant at what he does putting these road trips together & the organisation & care that is taken for everyone. Marco & Heather were fabulous, they looked after us from the start. The roads, the driving, the Scenery, hotels etc etc etc I could go on & on......We met a very likeminded group to share our holiday with as much or as little as we wanted, but they were such a fab bunch of guys, it was a pleasure spending our week with them & everyone looked after each other. Thankyou Making Tracks Ultimate Road Trips for making our first trip a very memorable one, definitely value for money & hope to see you all very soon on another adventure x

Well what can we say....... This was our first trip with Making Tracks to Switzerland and even before we met up with the group, we can honestly say the communication and planning were second to none! Mike, Marco and Heather were outstanding, from meet 'n' greet, to planning routes, stops for activities & beautiful scenic spots & great hotels. The whole group were very welcoming, a real likeminded down to earth bunch, which makes a big difference to your holiday too. We would certainly recommend Making Tracks for this kind of outstanding organised holiday, if you love driving & want all the above. We will see you all again for another trip, without doubt.

Due to unforseen mechanical issues, i was unable to take my Nissan Skyline R34 on this trip and was redused to taking my little Ford Focus 1.0t ecoboost. I was worried i wouldn't be able to keep up with the others. However from the moment I met the group I felt welcome and part of the Making Tracks family. Throughout the trip, the others would constantly make sure I wasn't left behind and yhey even let me ride alongside them to experience some of the fantastic roads as a passenger in their cars. I would say, it doesn't matter if you have a Ferrari LaFerrari or a Ford Focus. Doing a tour with Making Tracks is an experience worth every penny.

I absolutely love Making Tracks with Mike and Marco (and the amazing Heather). My dad and I have done a couple of these together now and we love it. The roads are amazing and very thought out. Used Making Tracks to tour around the Austrian lakes. Great hotels, sightseeing and plenty of non driving activities offered and available to do. A very relaxed non pressured driving experience led by experienced tour guides. Definitely a couples friendly experience.
