Brandon Philpot came to our home because we suspected a water leak in one of our lines, but he determined that the water was coming from elsewhere, allowing us to tackle the problem differently

They are a great company to work with. Jason went above and beyond to get electricity for me. He made multiple calls to aes after getting my house ready for a meter. TJ and Jason worked in the wet mud to get me set up then Jason came out and called several times to check if the power company had been out yet. TJ was awesome too he rearranged his schedule so he could be here when aes came out to bury the wire for me. Thanks guys!

Allen Home Services came to my house to replace multiple LED can lights throughout my house. Jason, their electrician, did an excellent job, was efficient, professional and knowledgeable. In February 2025, I hired Allen Home Services to replace two electric panels, a decision that has proven disastrous. Their gross negligence and unprofessional conduct have caused significant damage and frustration. During the job, their team sent an electrical surge that destroyed my oven. Despite signing an agreement to repair or replace it, they have refused to honor this commitment, leaving me with a costly loss.
Furthermore, their work was abysmal. They disabled all outdoor circuits, taking an unacceptable three months to restore only a portion, and now refuse to fix the remaining issues, leaving my home’s electrical system severely compromised. Attempts to resolve these problems have been futile—their office does not answer calls, and owners Dan and Derek Allen, who personally promised to rectify these mistakes, have ignored all communication via calls, texts, and emails.
To make matters worse, a quick check with the Better Business Bureau reveals multiple unresolved complaints against Allen Home Services, all of which have gone unanswered, indicating a pattern of disregard for customers. Their failure to deliver and blatant unaccountability have forced me to pursue legal action to recover over $5,000 in damages. I strongly caution against hiring Allen Home Services, as their shoddy workmanship and complete lack of responsibility make them utterly unreliable. They routinely delete any negative reviews (outside mine, the most recent is 4 months old). This one won’t likely last long. BEWARE.
Updated 6/23: The response from Allen Home Services is false. I reached out on numerous occasions about not receiving the payment which Derek Allen said was sent out on June 3rd (20 days prior to him responding). I also reached out the day of his response offering to come to the office to pick up the payment. He has not responded to any of my numerous contacts both in text and phone calls. Further, their office continues to refuse my calls and respond via many messages left with their answering service. All said, no progress has been made in resolving my issues.
