My friend recommended that I go here for a monthly facial special and I am so happy I did! I consider myself fortunate to have nice skin but sometimes it needs a little exfoliation and love.
Makana Esthetics has an easy website to use in order to find the service you would like, however a downfall for me is that you can't book online...you have to call. I don't like talking on the phone and having somebody rummage through times and days that they have availability. Anyways, if you're booking a monthly special, be sure to say it on the phone and when you arrive for your appointment. It's in a building right off Nimitz with tons of free parking. Overall, it was a great experience, but I wish the booking was easier and I wish they were on time. They took me about 15-20 min after my appt time and it took a lot longer than a normal facial. But I would come back.

I visited Makana Esthetics Wellness Academy and booked a papaya facial along with a back facial -- and WOW. Such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience! My esthetician, Ana, took her time, explained everything she was doing, and made sure I felt comfortable from start to finish. My skin looked amazing afterward and I left feeling so pampered. If you're thinking about treating yourself, do it! You won't regret it.

Had the experience of a lifetime receiving the papaya enzyme facial with Kelsey M! She was extremely professional with her technique and informative on the skin care products being used during the session. I had an amazing experience at Makana! The space was very clean and calming. My facial with Siman was so relaxing, I wished it was longer. She was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. She took the time to really assess my skin and gave me some product recommendations! After my facial, my skin felt so refreshed and was visibly glowing for the rest of the day.
