I caught this PB trophy fish of a lifetime on the mighty Fraser River! It was an epic battle from when I set the hook and it flew out of the water, showing its enormous head and body!The sturgeon was so powerful! We had to pull anchor and chase down this massive fish. After the long, intense fight that took us a long way down the big river, I finally got this beautiful fish to the boat. Brandon, our fishing guide and owner of @mainlandersportfishing did a great job of getting us on the fish, maneuvering the boat, and pulling the huge dinosaur into the sling. He is a good guy and fun to fish with. He really knows what he’s doing out there and his experience shows. We opted for the lunch. The main was cheeseburgers that he grilled on the boat while we continued to fish. They were good. He also brings an assortment of snacks and drinks. It’s nice not to have to bring any food yourself. Thank you, Brandon for the trip of a lifetime!
It was an amazing experience! The fishing trip was excellent from start to finish. He was super attentive, always helping and making sure everything was well organized, and he had all the equipment we needed for the fishing. We caught a lot of fish, which made the experience even better and allowed us to really enjoy the trip. It was a really great experience.

This was my first time sturgeon fishing. Brandon was awesome in making us feel comfortable, personable and great at teaching us what to do. He took us to several spots and in no time we were catching one after another. He has a perfect set up on the side of the boat for catch and release. I would highly recommend him and hope to be able to go on another trip soon.

Had a great day out on Fraser. Brandon took our company out as our Christmas event this year and it was excellent. It's pretty amazing when a guide can make the rain go away and catch 8 fish. It was nice that he had a BBQ on the boat and we were able to make burgers for lunch. Brandon is very professional and takes his role seriously, but also makes sure that the trip is entertaining and informative. He has a lot of knowledge and good stories which is always cool to hear. We hope to get out again sometime.
We had an absolutely amazing sturgeon fishing experience with our guide, lan. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, lan was incredibly helpful, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable about the area and the fish. He walked us through everything we needed to know, answered all our questions, and made us feel totally comfortable!
lan quite literally had us on fish all day. Every time we settled into a spot, it felt like minutes before we were hooked up again. His expertise and passion for what he does really showed, and it made the entire day not just successful, but so much fun.
This was truly a bucket list trip for us, and lan made it unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better guide or a better experience on the water.
We will definitely be booking with him again, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch sturgeon fishing adventure!

Brandon made the whole trip seamless — it was a day we’ll never forget. Matt and Hayden were awesome guides! Four out of our eight fishers were complete newbies who had never fished for sturgeon before, but they made everyone feel comfortable, informed, and confident when pulling in their fish.
We had joked before getting on the water about having a girls vs. boys boat, but we ended up splitting up evenly. The competition was friendly all day, the rain held off, and guess what? The biggest fish in both boats were caught by the girls!
Even though we won, I think the real big one was the last fish my dad tried to pull in. The trip was for his 80th birthday, and now he’ll forever have the story of the one that got away. It was an incredible day — and seeing the smile on his face made it absolutely priceless.
Once again, thank you, Brandon and Mainlanders, for an unforgettable day on the water. The whole experience was amazing!

Great time reeling in giants with Brandon
Great time with Brandon putting us on lots of big sturgeon, always keeping a keen eye on the rods and the bait fresh. We got to try our hand at salmon fishing as well. If I find myself out that way again I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.
