From the initial appointment scheduling to the completion of the EV Charger project, MAD Energy NW was the BEST electrical contractor we have EVER worked with. EVER!
Our initial conversation highlighted walking thru the rebate system and the staff, most notably Trinity, presented the most "Can Do" perspective, We then met with a field rep who reviewed the project and immediately projected confidence and assurance; so we went with MAD.
During the on-site work, the two techs were AMAZING and got the job done without a hitch. But most notably, they were wonderful to work with. We enjoyed their presence in our home as well as the craftmanship.
Overall, MAD is the best electrical contractors we have ever worked with. Highly recommend.

Last summer, my husband and I set out to compare eight different solar installers. What we found was a mix of companies that were more interested in closing a quick sale than truly educating their customers. Many of them refused to take the time to explain how many panels the roof can set up for the ROI return in 10 yrs, the steps of the installation process, or the often‑complex HOA requirements that are so critical to get approval for the installation.
We finally chose Mad Energy because of their outstanding customer service, specifically the dedication of their salesperson, Brad. From the very first visit, Brad took a hands‑on approach: he studied our energy bills, and patiently answered every question we had, whether we asked in person, by text, or over the phone. His thorough explanations helped us understand exactly how many panels would work for us and how it would impact our monthly costs. Importantly, the price point was fair, neither the cheapest nor the most expensive option on the market.
The biggest challenge we faced was our HOA. Their board had imposed additional, unclear restrictions that weren’t even part of the official charter. Brad produced detailed drawings, cited city regulations, and sent comprehensive emails to the HOA board, effectively educating them about the project’s compliance. Thanks to his persistence and expertise, the board eventually approved our installation.
The actual installation proceeded smoothly and without any surprises.

MAD Energy did a great job getting my huge ground mount installed. They were one of the few companies who even offered to do a ground mount (most only do roofs). I thought the price was fair. The team was efficient.

We wanted to have solar installation to take advantage of the last year of the 30% tax credit and I setup an appt with MAD Energy around July. The initial meeting went well and we decided to go with them. They said that we will get the install before the end of the year. So the salesman told us to apply for credit at their CU Bank and we did. We got the loan approved after two weeks. Now, setting up the installation date became a problem. They kept me waiting for an update two weeks at a time that goes on and on with excuses with their crew's scheduling, vacations, holidays and even talking with their owner while assuring me that we are already on the list to get installed before the end of this year. When we sensed that we are just getting led on, after those every two weeks of waiting became months, we decided to look for another company that is more true to their words. We just thank God that we did find one after scrambling to find one. Now, we are getting solar this mid November.

The MAD Energy team are true professionals. Mike discovered an issue with the brand new panel we had installed after a remodel, which was causing our furnace to trip every time we used generator power. He spent a couple hours troubleshooting the issue, sent a proposal for the fix, and got the job scheduled within a couple weeks of accepting the proposal. They also sent recommendations for a new generator that would be more compatible with our setup. Thanks to MAD Energy, we now have heat when the power goes out!
