This review is for the retractable awning. I contacted Made in Shade after reviewing the results of a Google search. My inquiry was met with a prompt response and a date was set for the initial meeting shortly afterwards. I was impressed by the options and quality of the product and proceeded with the order. Upon arrival the awning was expertly and efficiently installed in about an hour. The lead installer spent time explaining the.controls and how everything worked. From start to finish everything was handled professionally. Yes, I would recommend them.

Amazing experience! The whole process was made very simple. I called and they came out quickly and came out with samples and we ordered the blinds. obviously, it takes several weeks because they’re custom to come in and as soon as they came in, they installed them quickly efficiently. I have had a great experience with the team at Made in the Shade Austin. We have great Levelor blinds that were installed a couple years back and the performance has been flawless. We have blockout shades for bedrooms upstairs that have been wonderful. We had a service request recently and they were prompt and took care of our shades. We live in Horseshoe Bay and they traveled out 2x to get our shades serviced. They have taken care of the home and made working with them as easy as possible. I highly recommend Kelli and Matt. Great people to do business with!

Because our shutters are custom-made, we typically need accurate measurements, product selections, and other details before we can provide an accurate quote or installation timeline. When you mentioned that another company was able to offer a much faster turnaround, we wanted to be transparent that we would not be able to promise the same timeline.
That said, we could have communicated that more professionally, and we are sorry for the way the call ended.

Wonderful experience! Cindy and Rickey were able to come out the day after we moved into our new house. They sat down with me and showed me several different options on windows that looked similar to mine. Rickey then began measuring windows while Cindy helped me pick out shade colors. They answered every question I had and were very friendly. Even better, their quote came more than $2,000 less than a competitor. The turnaround time was very quick; the shades were installed exactly 3 weeks after my consultation. Reese and Justice came to install them. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and worked quickly and efficiently. The process from consultation to install was seamless. I would highly recommend Made in the Shade Abilene.
