The quote ended up being wayyyyy above what we wanted to spend. Now I get spam calls up to 5-10 times a day. The other day I thought I would entertain them and tell them to please stop spam calling me as well as spam texts and emails from other companies(they def sell your info). They begged to give them another chance and come by to talk about another quote. I reluctantly said I would and to come by tomorrow. They refused to unless my wife was home. I told them my wife didn’t need to be there as I knew how aggressive they were and they refused to without her. I told them alright then please stop calling everyday. They still call everyday 5-10 times. Weird tactics.
MAD CITY OMAHA consists of a team of professionals from sales person to contractors , supervisors and plumbers. They are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. They use quality stuff and make sure the job is done to perfection. I would have given 5 stars if the scheduling for starting was made clear from the very beginning . It took them a month to give me a date for installation. But once they started they took care of mold issue, installation was done to perfection and they kept the area clean . Even after the project completed they helped me with fixing a major drain issue. Thanks to Tim, Jim, Jessy , Keith and Sales person Brett. I would highly recommend them for shower remodeling.
Had a cast iron tub removed and walk in shower installed in its place. Installers (don’t remember their names, did a great job) removed old and corrected original imperfections of my house, rerouted plumbing to accommodate shower, installed MadCity system we selected, went smoothly done in one day. No pressure sells, product sells itself, no upsell (thanks Sheldon). 5 star company, they got it figured out. If you’re thinking of upgrading tub/shower call these folks for a bid, you won’t regret it.
First make sure everything guaranteed from salesperson is in writing! They do NOT put down tarps to protect your flooring and furniture. When I asked our installer Michael why he wasn’t doing it, he said the salesman promises things that never happen. Even though it is in the buyers guarantee of service.
We took a small pantry closet out of the kitchen to allow room to put a tub in the master bath. Love having a tub, but Michael neglected to caulk all the shelves and the spot where he removed the pantry door and placed drywall is shotty at best. The inserted piece of drywall is even on one edge, the opposite side protrudes about 1/8-1/4” from the wall and is not flush making it impossible to mud that area without having a big hump in the finished product.
I have made multiple calls to different people at MadCity trying to get this fixed and NO ONE has returned my calls. So don’t believe the part that if anything is wrong help is close by, they might be close by but they aren’t there to respond to your concerns.

Got a call from Ryan and we scheduled an appointment for repairs the following week. He gave me his direct number if there were any more concerns in the future. Nick came out and did an excellent job fixing the problems listed above. He then verified that I was satisfied with the work. He was very pleasant and reiterated that Mad City wanted to make sure their customers were happy with their product. So I guess the moral of the story, when you work with the salesman make sure you have the right numbers to get things fixed. Once I spoke with the correct person my concerns were met quickly and efficiently. And I love having my own bathtub vs the world’s smallest shower.
