I brought my Macbook Pro in for a simple screen replacement — something that should’ve been straightforward — and it turned into a disaster. They kept my device for over 2 months with extremely poor communication throughout the entire process. First it was “just the screen,” then suddenly there was a keyboard issue, and then somehow a motherboard issue. Every time I followed up, I got vague answers, delays, or no response at all.
This business handled the repair incompetently and unprofessionally. I ended up losing valuable time I needed for work because of how long they held my laptop and how unclear they were about what was actually happening. Definitely would not recommend trusting them with your tech.
A bunch of dirty scammers. I brought in my MacBook Pro for a simple screen issue after they told me they were Apple technicians. I even paid a rush fee. When they gave it back, the laptop came back worse, broken with more problems than before.
They then promised repeatedly that they would fix the damage they caused, but for more than a month and a half they kept delaying, avoiding, and refusing to return the laptop.
Still no repair, no solution, and constant excuses.
Avoid this place at all costs. They are not honest, not professional, and absolutely not Apple certified as they claim.
I could have made the repairs better myself, and at less than a quarter of the price. I wish I could take pictures of my own phone. I dropped off a Motorola Moto G stylus 5g to have the screen replaced. I was charged $100 plus tax up front, and told it would be ready in 2 days. When I went back on Tuesday, the repairs still hadn't been made, and I was being asked for more money, for services that I never asked for. The guy holding my phone said that if he didnt fix the corners of my phone the screens would continue to shatter. I asked him to please not do any additional extra services, as I didn't have the money, but he had already started. After picking up my phone and using it, Ive noticed that the screen is already coming away from the phone and doesn't always work, the BACK plate of my phone is also separating, and the "fixed corners" look as if someone tried to staple tape to them, and 2 of them are cracked. My phone makes these weird clicking/bubble popping sounds every time I touch it, and I'm going to have to take it to be repaired again... SOMEWHERE ELSE. Worst $188.00 I've spent in a very long time.
Got my screen repaired here last month. The service was great. Fantastic actually. I was very grateful because my phone broke around 5:30 pm and I had lost my credit card and I needed info on my phone to be able to replace it and I was in a real bind and panicking. The gentleman in the shop got my phone fixed in about 45 minutes. He had other repairs on the go but since they were getting picked up next day, he dropped what he was doing and helped me out. It was a huge relief. My phone is working great, no issues and the price was fair. I’ll go there again if I have a need, but hopefully I won’t need to 🤞
Absolutely fantastic service! I got my MacBook fixed by Macmates, the whole experience was smooth and professional. Not only they did the repair the screen perfectly but they also went above and beyond by helping me with my email issues and they cleaned virus from my MacBook without loosing my data

I brought my 13 year old MacBook in for a system upgrade, assessment for viruses, updating of apps, etc. I’m determined to hang onto this cherished laptop as long as possible. I received amazing service at a very reasonable price. Upgraded OS installed, no viruses detected, all apps updated, got personal assistance in better managing my files, and a quick orientation to the refreshed app docking bar. I’ll be back for support with all my Apple devices (laptop, iPad, phone). Highly recommend MacMates!
