I had to clean the linens in my whole house and my washer broke down. I haven't been to the Mt Airy Laundromat since it was renovated. I was so impressed. I was able to do everything in their super large washers and dryers at the same time. It would have taken me a week to do this much laundry at home. I did it there in a little more than 2 hours. The staff were so helpful advising me how to operate the large and powerful machines how much detergent to use and how to load the machines. The facility was very clean and the equipment rather quiet considering how many were operating at the same time and how large they were. The attendant checked on me frequently to check my progress. They also have good parking close to the door of the laundry for this handicapped 75+ YO granny.

The people here are very friendly and helpful. Very nice people and they always have someone here so you dont have to worry about something not working or not able to get what you need. They sell laundry bags of great quality and dryer sheets. They also offer wash and fold service as well. Great place ad very clean easy to use and you pay with a laundry mat card so you dont need chage.

We had a wonderful experience here! It was our first time using this laundromat, and Casey made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and took the time to answer all of our questions. Her friendly attitude and excellent customer service made our visit so much easier. The laundromat was clean, well-maintained, and thanks to Casey, our first experience was a great one. I went into the Mount Airy Laundromat not knowing anything about any of the machines or how to use them! I don't often go to laundromats, but today I was pleasantly surprised. The assistant was incredibly friendly and attentive every step of the way. I really appreciated how Persilla took the time to explain how to get a card, use the machines, and was always willing to help. She was with me throughout the entire process.

My girlfriend and I went to this laundry mat again after about 1year -1year 1/2, and absolutely love the new renovations that have been done since our last visit here, new machines,nice and clean space, and absolutely great customer service..the blonde lady was very hospitable and helpful with us on getting us up to date on how to use the new machines and laundry cards they use there now. she is extremely well at her job and made the whole experience there great!

The equipment is Clean, and works great! There was a attendant to pick up and help. She was Great. I went in early and no wait on the machines I needed to use. By the time I left it was pretty packed but run very well! I will be back for large loads..

I am not usually in Mount Airy but had to be there for something else, and remembered that there was a laundromat. I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Parking is somewhat limited but I found a spot right away. I doubt the lot fills completely, and there is also a handicap spot right next to the door. The entrance is easy to find, and was greeted with the smell of fresh laundry and a big helpful hello by Priscilla, the employee. She talked and walked me through the process, and got me all set up. They sell laundry detergent by the pod, if you need it. There are plenty of large rolling baskets, and also plenty of table space for folding. The floor is clean slate tile, nicely done. Apparently you can use their laundry service, they will wash, dry and fold your clothes for you for a reasonable rate. You don't use coins for the machines, you have to use a laundry card, which they sell at a self-serve kiosk that takes cash or credit cards.
