I don’t think their hours of operation are listed properly. Both online and on their door they state they close at 10 pm but I arrived before 930 pm and the place was closed with no one inside.

I am so ecstatic That my favorite laundromat out of Mount Airy is now the New Owners of the this location and finally reopened the Laundromat to the Frederick/Walkersville community back up!
They offer so many options that was not offered prior and it’s really coming together love the look and feel so far! I cannot wait to see the final details as it’s all getting finished up.. However I tried the machines out lastnight and they are so nice with the many options to wash all my household needs, there is even a setting on the washes for my rugs, blankets, clothing etc I love how it spins the laundry almost dry and it’s really saved my dryer times I was washed and dried with a load of clothing and my bed linens in 1hr that’s great! The family oriented business addition to this community with all the offerings to self or full services to help out alll needs is so exciting and appreciated! Thank you Lux Laundry & Spa and welcome to the community 😁
Casey, thank you so much for the warm welcome and thoughtful review! It means a lot to know you enjoyed our Mt Airy location and are excited to have Lux Laundry Spa serving the Frederick and Walkersville community.
We’re especially glad you’re enjoying the new machines, multiple wash settings, and faster drying times—and getting your clothing and bed linens washed and dried in about an hour is exactly the kind of efficient laundry day we want for our customers. We truly appreciate your patience as we put the finishing touches on the laundromat. Thank you for supporting our family-oriented business, and we can’t wait for you to see everything once it’s complete!
