I bought a non electric cargo bike and needed all the accessories to carry my daughter at the back and lug some bags at the front. I saw that they had everything in stock and drove over there. They were very knowledgable and helped me to choose the right accessories and even offered to install them. As my bike was still in parts in the trunk I decided to take them home. The whole team is super friendly and if I needed to rent an electric cargo bike, I would ask them first, they also have Tern ones on sale.
I bought a pre-owned cargo e-bike from them. After-sales experience was very positive. They accommodated my schedule for the first service since I live in another town and the suggested timeframe didn't work for me. The service was great, and I have no complaints; the bike is running smoothly.
Lug and Carrie would have to be the nicest people I've ever hired from. You're not left last coz you're not "ride share", they care about their bikes and prices are bang on. I would highly recommend them to ANYONE interested in electric bikes and I've finally found a shop that operates with integrity! 😍 ❤️
Recently had a service at the Melbourne location and was very happy when I picked it up. Almost looked better than when I purchased it. Totally professional experience from the always welcoming staff who really care about you and your bike. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone interested in an e- bike and aftermarket service.
We've had our GSD Tern for 2 years and it has made such a positive influence on our lives! We thought we'd lease to give it a go, we can return it if we didn't use throughout winter but we have used it non stop rain hail or shine for 24 months. It's our second car, yet its better than a car! Lug+Carrie customer service team ALWAYS helpful, responsive, kind and local team with personalities not AI bots. We just bought the bike outright from them. Highly recommend!
A great store with great people, but more clarity on the Terms & Conditions would've been nice so I didn't waste my time.
Apparently, storage at an apartment complexes bike garage is not secure enough, something which I was told in-store would be fine.
Again, I fully understand why, but it would've been nice to know this before nearly completing the leasing process.
I needed to swap out some accessories on my Quick Haul subscription as well as get the light fixed. Love having the mobile service so it could be taken care of whilst I was working from home. It needed to be taken into the shop in the end and I was given the option to have it dropped back to me or the faster option of me to collect it from the shop which was in this case easier. Love the flexibility. Loving our seat and have had no problems w the lights since.
Our ebike has been a game changer for our kinder-work daily commute - now we can go down quieter but hilly side streets that I was avoiding in my regular bike without getting to work sweaty. It is a super stable bike, always feels balanced even with a kid and a big load of stuff. Our kid loves the bike. We can store so much stuff in the side panniers, and on the front - toy library hauls, a week of groceries, overnight camping gear on rail trail rides - you name it. Service is excellent, any issue we've ever had has been solved quickly.
