I had the best experience with Lucid Dreams Camper Vans. I got welcomed very friendly by Nikos and he team and we first had a coffee. Then he explained me everything I had to know for my trip and how all the equipment works. Afterwards he even took his time to discuss my route and recommended me the best places. I can highly recommend to follow his map, if you are doing a tour on crete. It shows the best places and especially very cool tavernas. When I come back to crete I will definitly do one more tour with the vans from Nikos. Best regards from Germany

Hi George, we're delighted with the friendly communication. It was a wonderful time with Jimny. It started at the campsite in Agia Gallini, where we get to know with setting up and taking down the tent and sleeping in the rooftop tent. Of course, camping in the great outdoors was even more fun. The campsite near Agio Stavros, perched on the rocky plateau above the sea, offered us a fantastic view with magnificent sunrises and sunsets. At the beach near Frangokastello, we could swim directly in the sea in the mornings, and the nights on Agia Roumeli were the highlight of our holiday. All of this was made possible by Jimny and its four-wheel drive, which allowed us to park where regular campers and motorhomes couldn't. Here are a few more photos... Warm regards, Silke and Torsten

Great experience from start to finish! We were picked up from the airport and dropped off again at the end, which made everything super easy. Very friendly and always helpful with trip planning, including great insider tips for must-see spots. The van was well explained, easy to drive, and equipped with everything we needed (including nice extras like camping chairs, a hammock, a sun umbrella, and a snorkel mask). Communication was quick and smooth the whole time. Highly recommend!

Our holiday in Crete with Jimny was amazing! From the moment we picked it up, everything was smooth and thoughtfully organized. The van itself was spotless, comfortable, and cleverly designed — compact yet with every little detail you could possibly need for an adventure on the road. We loved waking up to the sound of the sea and having the freedom to explore Crete’s hidden beaches, mountain villages, and starry skies at our own pace. Jimny handled the winding roads and hill climbs beautifully, easy to drive.

Our experience with Lucid dreams was 10/10! We had the best time with the Vintage VW van. It worked perfect and was super fun to live something new for us. It’s not for inexperienced drivers but you get the hang of it after a while. Yorgos was the best host showing us where to sleep in places we would never find by ourselves. He was also flexible and answered our messages whenever needed. Anyways recommend 100%.

We had an amazing experience with LucidDreams.gr! From the moment we were picked up at the airport, everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism. The handover of the Suzuki Jimny and the rooftop tent was smooth, and the detailed instructions made everything super easy. Thanks to George’s insider tips, we discovered hidden corners of the island we would have never found on our own. At first, we were worried that all our luggage wouldn’t fit in the Jimny, but it turned out to be no problem at all. The car was perfect for the trip, and we can honestly say: if you want to see the most beautiful beaches and remote spots, a regular rental car without 4x4 just won’t get you there. We highly recommend LucidDreams.gr for an unforgettable adventure!

Amazing 10/10 experience with Lucid Dreams!!! We had everything we needed for a 5 nights camping trip, it was a one stop shop. We took the Jeep Renegade with tent above, it’s very easy to handle and more comfortable than it seems. The self built outdoor shower was surprisingly nice and allowed us to shower in amazing scenery. The guidance and help from George was super clear and pleasant. Can’t recommend enough! South Crete is perfect for a camping trip, lots of spots to park with amazing views to wake up to. This is your sign to book that trip you wanted:)

Nous avons loué le VW California T6 pour 8 jours pendant le mois de septembre. Notre séjour a été une formidable surprise. Cette location était notre première expérience en van / camping sauvage et le VW est un bonheur à conduire, passe-partout et est très confortable. Nous avions préparé un itinéraire mais Giorgios nous a conseillé des endroits dont nous n'avions pas entendu parler et ceux-ci ont été les plus beaux de notre séjour. Un grand merci à Lucid Dreams pour leur disponibilité sur WhatsApp. Nous espérons avoir l'occasion de revenir et de cette fois louer un 4x4 pour explorer les zones les plus reculées de l'île !

Expérience au top 👌 Le contact se fait très facilement (en anglais, via WhatsApp pour ma part). Puis, une fois sur place, ils fournissent une très bonne prestation : le van était top, les explications aussi. Ils peuvent vous prêter d'autres matériels si nécessaire. Et enfin, ils prennent aussi le temps d'expliquer aux clients les points d'intérêt de cette magnifique île qu'est la Crète. De plus, ils vous cherchent et vous déposent où vous voulez, si vous n'êtes pas très loin d'Héraklion ! Si vous parlez un minimum anglais, foncez les yeux fermés ! 🤩 Merci encore ! Jérémie et Elodie

We had a really great experience with Lucid dreams. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. At the pickup of the car we could choose to borrow a beach umbrella, a hammock, beach towels and probably a lot more! Also the lift from and to the airport was very convenient. We rented the Jeep with roof tent for 2 weeks, it was very practical to drive around the island and to be able to wake up in front of the sea. Would definitely recommend. Next time we’ll get some thing bigger like the California van to have a bit more space. Thank you!
