I finally got the color that I’ve been wanting! I use to have another hair specialist, but she couldn’t give me the desired red that I wanted. I went here first try and she was able to make it happen without having a bleach over; she used a permanent red dye to give me my desired red hair and used the faded out red that turned sort of blondish to her advantage to make my roots the same color red. I wish she would’ve told me it was permanent dye but regardless, I am happy with my results
Had a good overall experience! Needed a basic trim with some layers and the stylist followed through and was super sweet! I will say that the blowout afterward was not great though. As I left I could feel that my hair still had some very slight dampness (and as someone who’s gotten a lot of blowouts prior, I’m aware that a bone dry blowout is best for results and lasting power!). I developed surface frizz that same day and the blowout just doesn’t look as good as other ones I’ve gotten. It looks like one that I would’ve attempted on myself, and I’m not great at hair 😅 I do think it was a busy morning though and the stylist was on a time crunch, so that’s probably it.
This is my third time at The Lotus Den, and I truly haven’t felt more comfortable at a salon! I’m not someone who gets haircuts very often, so finding a salon where I feel completely comfortable and confident has been such a treat.
From my very first visit, I was welcomed by friendly faces and such a warm, inviting environment. I’ve had both Bethany and Emerson cut my hair, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with my experiences! They are both incredibly talented and somehow make you feel like a brand-new person when you leave the salon.
I especially appreciate how they really listen to the vision I’ve had for my hair each appointment and take the time to check in throughout the process and make any adjustments are needed to make sure I absolutely love the final look.
I’m so grateful I found The Lotus Den and would recommend them to anyone looking for talented stylists and a salon that truly makes you feel at home!
