We had a great tour with Herb! We only had one day in Portland and this was the perfect way to explore the city. Everything we tasted was delicious. Most of it was stuff we wouldn’t have thought to order on our own so this was the perfect way to try new things. The portions were huge so come hungry because you’ll leave full!

So much to learn, and some amazing things to taste! We LOVED learning about the history of coffee (and Portland's role in the evolution of it) from Evangel! We were super full and satisfied by the end of the tour, and we learned so much. Evangel was knowledgable, friendly, and open to questions.

The selection (variety, portions, deliciousness) was very nicely done and Herb was extraordinarily imaginative and thoughtful about accommodating diverse tastebuds and preferences. Went on the Coffee & Donut tour. I learned so much, enjoyed the food and beverages and got to chat with great people. Mind expanding! I fell in love with Portland, and realized that I never liked donuts because I hadn't had a good one, which the tour changed. Couldn't have asked for more.

We did the food cart tour, six of us, and hit fabulous food carts in four different areas. Our tour guide Herb was amazing, informational from a historical and food aspect, and sincerely engaged us during the walking portions, answering questions, providing city history and a feel for the neighborhood. Hitting "Flanders" St. meant something different after the tour.

Don’t Sleep on Portlands Food Carts! We spent a pleasant rainy day (thank you for not canceling due to the weather) with Herb. He educated us on the various cuisines of Portland while serving up fabulous dishes, each made with seasonal ingredients and lots of pride! I appreciated the variation of international fare, (Mexican, Birman, Ukrainian, Vietnamese and American) which gave me a chance to try many items that I would have otherwise overlooked. Well done Herb!
