I called to get a quote and was told $5,000 to be completely done with my timeshare. We owned it and were not behind on maintenance fees, we didn’t want to sell or get anything out of it other than simply not have it anymore. Spoke with Jessica Dawson who was nice but had a very salesperson approach and reached out multiple times to me. I told her that I needed time to think about it as $5,000 was a lot of money and I didn’t expect it to be so high. She kept calling to “relieve me of this life debt.”
I was able to get what called “a deed in lieu” which relinquishes me of ownership, maintenance fees and monthly payments for free by just calling the timeshare and speaking to a manager saving me $5,000.
I was obviously extremely pleased.
The reason they get 1 star is that I was put on spam list ever since those calls with Lonestar. It has been a few months and I get at least 5 calls a day! I have had to block unknown callers. They are back to back. I am now on the do not call registry and I still get calls which I never had before. Some are asking about my timeshare and most of the time there is no one on the other line.
It’s terrible and I’m at a loss of what to do other than warn you to take your business elsewhere.

My wife and I have been timeshare owners for many years. We also became unhappy campers in recent years because we were paying more and more in maintenance fees. While the spending was going up,our enthusiasm was going down. Promises that sparked us into purchasing the timeshare in the first place were changing and rearranging, not being kept. As time went on, it seemed like there was more accessibility for non timeshare persons and at a lesser cost. Navigating the hole thing became a chore and that's when we realized that the timeshare fun suckers had exhausted us. To top it off our timeshare people tried to tell us that our property and paperwork was old news and that we should spend another 15 to 20k to bring our agreement up to speed. Anyway, after hearing about Lonestar Transfer, we decided to let them handle our legal exit from the nightmare. The transfer took longer than expected but not by much. I suppose I could have given away my Share online, but the paperwork would have been a hassle.
There were times when I heard nothing for months at a time but when I inquired, I was assured we were on track. It took almost a year but I'm happy that it's over. I learned about Lonestar listening to Sean Hannity on KEIB. Lonestar is a legit company, and I would recommend them whole-heartedly.

I have great experience with Lonestar Transfer in getting rid of my timeshare. I have tried other companies before in getting rid of my timeshare, but with no success and a waste of money and time. With other companies, after paying them, they don't even call to tell me how things are going. When I call them back, they don't return calls or their answering machine was full.
With Lonestar Transfer, they have agent work with me all through the process from begin to end. It may takes a bit of time and money, but it was all worth it. I greatly recommend Lonestar Transfer (located in Texas) to get rid of your timeshare once and for all.
