Buyer beware
I purchased two Goldendoodles from them, both died at 5 years and 6 months. One from Seizures and the other most likely cancer or an autoimmune issue. Unacceptable - they need to do genetic testing.
They were the BEST companions but their lives were cut short by bad breeding. One was purchased in 2014 and the other in 2020. Just lost my baby this weekend.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Lonestar Doodles was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share. We brought home our standard F1 Goldendoodle in January, and at 5 months old, he is an absolute dream. He has the sweetest, most perfect personality—a true testament to the care they put into their litters.
What sets Lonestar apart is their absolute transparency. They were the only breeder I contacted (both in and out of Texas) that was willing to share the parent health records upfront. Without hesitation, they provided OFA reports for the parents' hips, elbows, and hearts.
The preparation they provide is also top-tier. Before we even picked up our puppy, they sent us instructional videos on potty training, what to expect those first few weeks, and vital safety information regarding Parvo. They were incredibly communicative and kind throughout the entire process—before, during, and after adoption. If you want a healthy, well-adjusted dog from a legitimate and caring breeder, look no further.
Lonestar was an easy drive from Austin, TX. Two Austin families that I know and trust recommended Lonestar to me and now I know why!

We got a full sized goldendoodle from this breeder 10 years ago and she has been the best dog! We were so impressed with the whole process and the communication was wonderful! When we lost her this past year, it was very traumatic for our family and we knew we couldn’t replace her but we needed another goldendoodle in our lives. We reached out and they worked so hard to find us the perfect puppy! They helped us with arrangements for pick up since we had not planned to get a puppy so quickly and we’re just so easy to work with. The puppy is now 4 months old (English cream mini f1) and is the best mannered dog we have ever owned. We knew we wanted a Mini Goldendoodle, and after hearing wonderful things from friends who recently adopted two doodles, we reached out to learn more. They told us about Lonestar Doodles—and that’s where our journey began.
After visiting their website, we instantly fell in love with our puppy when she was just five weeks old. Working with Lonestar Doodles was seamless from start to finish. Kimberly and Taryn were incredibly helpful, consistently responsive, and always quick to answer our emails. We appreciated the frequent photo updates and the couple of videos we received before pick-up day—they made the wait so exciting.
When the day finally came to bring Mabel home, Debby greeted us with warmth and professionalism. She welcomed us into her home, encouraged us to take our time getting to know Mabel, snapped a family photo for us, and even sent us home with water Mabel was used to so she could transition gradually. She answered every question we had and made the entire experience feel personal and thoughtful.
At Mabel’s 8-week vet appointment—72 hours after we picked her up—the vet was thrilled with her health and temperament. No hernias, optimal weight, excellent pulse, alert and bright (BAR), perfect dental development with all puppy teeth present, and a clear fecal exam. Everything checked out beautifully.

Their food recommendations aligned perfectly with our vet’s advice (especially discouraging grain-free diets).
They microchipped Mabel before pick-up, and activation was only a one-time $27 fee.
Most importantly, they offered wonderful support and helpful suggestions once we brought her home.
Lastly, if you read anything online—do your research. Every topic has two sides, and the best approach is always to ask questions and seek clarity directly. Our experience was excellent from beginning to end.

LoneStar Doodle has been our family’s go to for our dogs. Since 2014 when we got our first dog from them has been such an easy process then a second on 2016.
Since then to now we are on our 5th dog from LoneStar, our kids have dogs from LoneStar. Their process of choosing the right one to bringing them home is such an amazing experience: they help you find what you are looking for. Each of our dogs have such amazing personalities and I love each one of them.
I just had these two groomed and the Darker one has a mullet we have been working on and the lighter one we went with a Mohawk, just something fun for them and us.

Lonestar Doodles sold me a sick puppy in March 2022. She had bloody diarrhea and vomiting from the moment I took her home. She was sick with Parvovirus and they told me to give her goat dewormer. They refused to take accountability until I threatened legal action and they refunded the amount that I paid for her. They tried to get me to sign an NDA. I refused and again threatened to involve a lawyer. It's so sad and sickening to hear that even now, they're still selling sick puppies. While my dog is still alive today, she has had NO shortage of health problems as a result of her genetics and her exposure to parvo. Think twice before buying your puppy here.

It was almost a year ago that we brought Bentley into our home. He was an 8-week old Min- Goldendoodle that we adopted from Lonestar Doodles.
