This was too easy… I literally sent a WhatsApp message and 24 hours later. These guys have been to the property done the EPC rating, sent me the certificate and registered it on the government website… Now that’s what I call service, can’t recommend highly enough

I requested an 8am visit for my survey and was allocated an 8am-1pm slot. The engineer arrived at 1.45pm. Then sadly they spoke very little English which meant they were unable to understand my questions about the survey and where samples should be taken from. Due to that, it felt like they were aimlessly walking round and taking samples at random. Only after I received an invoice was it truly made clear to me that the charge for the survey did not include the “£50 per sample”. So next thing I knew I had 9 samples, of which at least 5 were pointless, and a bill for over £800. When I explained the situation, I was told by Frank that he completely agreed with the frustration but could offer me “maximum” discount of £50. He did however ensure me that he would give me a very large discount on my “next” asbestos survey. Because asbestos surveys are something we all get so regularly. Hilarious. 1 star

Disappointing experience: poor organisation from the Electrian
Unfortunately, my experience with this company was disappointing. What should have been a relatively straightforward process became unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming due to missed appointments, poor organisation and repeated delays.
I initially booked an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), which the property failed. I then arranged for the necessary remedial work to be carried out by the same company, as they were already familiar with the job.
Arranging an appointment was challenging due to limited availability and required considerable coordination between myself, my tenant and the company. After finally agreeing on a date, nobody turned up. There was no phone call, message or explanation, and my tenant had wasted an entire day waiting at home. I had to contact the company myself to find out what had happened and was offered another appointment five days later.
There were additional delays on the day of the rearranged apopintment due to poor planning from the Electrian which he took full responsibility for.
Unfortunately, the problems continued after the work was completed. I waited seven days for the updated EICR certificate, which never arrived. This caused significant issues as my new tenant was due to move into the property, and the missing paperwork delayed their move. I spent more time than I would have liked chasing the company. I do want to acknowledge that the customer support staff I spoke to were polite and appeared to be doing their best to help within the limitations of the company's processes. My frustration is not directed at them personally, but rather at the wider lack of organisation, communication and accountability that made the entire experience unnecessarily difficult.
Ultimately, I have spent a considerable amount of time chasing appointments, coordinating access and following up on paperwork that should have been provided without repeated intervention. When dealing with essential electrical safety certification and tenancy deadlines, reliability and timely communication are particularly important. Overall, a frustrating experience.
