Such an incredible experience! The family welcomed us so warmly and we had the best time learning how to make coconut oil. We learned so much, shared great conversations and absolutely loved discovering traditional knowledge and know-how. It was such a pleasure. And a huge, huge plus for the meal, which was unbelievably delicious!

Wow quel moment fou ! Avec mon amie, nous avons participé à l'atelier pour faire notre propre huile de coco de A à Z. C'était exceptionnel, du début à la fin, toute la famille à fait preuve d'une grande gentillesse. Noodle en particulier à veiller à ce que nous passions un bon moment. Nous avons suivi les différentes étapes avec sa tante et d'autres femmes de la famille, à notre rythme, nous avons beaucoup rigolé et pris plaisir. Nous avons même eu droit à un repas avec une sauce coco. C'est l'activité que nous avons préféré faire en Indonésie pour dire !!!

We completely understand that the drying and firing time may not have been what you expected. Just to clarify, we do mention on our website before booking that the pottery needs around 2 days for drying and firing before it is ready to take home.
We always do our best to prepare our guests’ pottery before they leave Lombok whenever the timing allows, but the drying and firing process is an essential part of pottery and cannot be rushed.

My girlfriend and I participated in the pottery making. The place is very authentic, many locals use the equipment to make their own pottery pieces giving the place a real community feel. The ladies that help with the pottery are very funny and talented. The whole experience was fantastic and you get to take home your creations. I’d recommend for a cultural experience of Lombok.
