The room was ok. Very strong smell of bleach when we first entered the room. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Good location.

The room was very spacious, but when I checked in there was a strong smell of alcohol fermentation mixed with vomit — a sour odor. We were extremely tired, so I thought opening the window and turning on the fan would help, but by the time we were going to sleep, the smell was still there. Even the next morning, the odor in the bathroom was still very noticeable. Why didn’t you at least spray some air freshener? It was exhausting and I didn’t even dare to breathe properly.

☺ Disabled facilities. Easy access to room. Very spacious bathroom with rails. Really comfortable large bed. Good quality linen.

Very disappointing, had expected better!
☺ Location suited us, had friends nearby rooms were clean. Nothing else!
☹ We were given a room with wheelchair access which was not what I booked and totally unnecessary No breakfast , location was noisy, bathroom floor was LETHAL! (very, very slippery), room was musty and only had 2 pillows,(most places give you at least 4) we had to ask for extra.

Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay, we pride ourselves on our high level of guest satisfaction and it is a disappointment when we miss the mark. I will pass your comments along to the owners regarding the slipperiness of the bathroom floor, as your safety and comfort is always our number one priority. As listed on Booking.com, breakfast is not included in the price of your stay, however, we have breakfast options available for purchase from Reception if required. Our Standard Queen room with disability access is the same room type and price as the room you booked and is allocated at random by our allocation system. We have found through trial and error that most guests are happy with two pillows, and as you stated, we are always happy to provide more if you should request them. I have left a note on file to place you in a room with a standard bathroom furthest from the motorway should you choose to stay again. Thank you again for your feedback and happy Wednesday :)

Clean and convenient
☺ Convenient location for our needs. Very private. Nice receptionist.
☹ It felt aggressively clean- maybe a lot of cleaning detergent smells in the room. Not much of a vibe, but good for its purpose.

Thanks for reviewing your recent stay Bianca. Trying to understand what aggressively clean means? Once housekeeping finish, the bathroom floor is mopped with disinfectant, as it is a hospitality standard and requirement to disinfect flooring and they do spray the room with Glen 20 to have that fresh clean smell for guests when they enter the room, so perhaps that is what you are smelling? Anyway, l will happily take aggressively clean accommodation any day :)
