Had a great experience with Loewen Design Studios. I was able to view samples and discuss customization prior to order. Enjoyed working with Sharon and Nick throughout the process. Table was shipped on time and delivery was white glove all the way. We will enjoy this heirloom piece for years to come.

I have a uniquely sized area for a table, so I needed a custom-sized one. Loewen seemed like the most flexible choice. Their design team was helpful with the wood choices. End result is a table that works well for me in my space.

Let me fill you in on my experience with Loewen design studio team. Buyer beware and read this before purchasing with a custom table making design company…. We had multiple issues with Loewen Design studios and their 3rd party delivery partner Deliveright: -overall lack of communication from them until we reached out on multiple occasions -deliveright lost the tabletop and Loewen had no influence on them with recovery -when fully assembled the table sagged in the middle by over 1” - it took us emailing the owners to start getting responses in a timely manner - overall solution to fix was less then professional for a custom table -pictures included below See the below information in detail that was sent after we received our table legs and leafs only, no tabletop. “We wanted to fill you in on our conversation we had with your delivery company. Deliveright Stated that the table arrived today and not yesterday, we asked to be scheduled for delivery this week and they stated that our local team was very busy this week and they do not have any availability in there schedule. We informed them of everything that has happened to our table and they said they would reach out to our local team. Being that Loewen design studio chose this delivery company to represent them, we ask that you address this matter with Deliveright. Again, we feel as if we are just another number in this entire process, customer service has not been sufficient for a major purchase from Loewen design studios. I would like to remind everyone that we purchased the table in July ‘24(paid in full), first update was that the base had to be replaced in November due to quality issues, expected delivery in January ‘25, actual delivery was February 8th, at that time Deliveright stated that Loewen design studio did not ship the table top. From there we had one update on February 14th that Loewen design studio was still investigating the whereabouts of the missing table top, this was after we reached out for an update. From there we did not hear any update’s until we reached out on 2/21 asking for an update, at that point we were informed that it had been found in Florida. This was the response at the time “ They are working to have it returned to Arizona and delivered to your home as quickly as possible. We will keep you updated on the status and expected delivery date. Thank you for your continued patience.” We again did not receive any updates until we reached out for one. 2 days later on 3/1 we were informed by Loewen design studio that the table top would be back in phoenix in 3-5 days. Once again we did not receive any updates at 5 days so we reached out on 3/6. We received an update on 3/7 that that it would arrive in phoenix on Monday and we would be contacted. We were not contacted but Loewen design studio provided a number so we could reach out just in case we did not get contacted. All of the above is not customer service, it is transactional and we are not a priority. We are both in the customer service industry and customer satisfaction is a first priority. We have not gotten that from either Loewen design studios or the delivery partner Deliveright. “The size of the table and the need for 42" worth of leaves required us to use steel extension rails instead of our normal maple rails. These work perfectly well, but they do require a shim between leaves 1 and 2 to hold the leaves up. This shim is usually attached to LEAF 2 and allows provides the required lift so you have a flat table.” 3/21: loewen design studios sent a couple options to fix the table or refund $400(options included me taking measurements for them…..they built this table….) 3/24 update: “We'll get a steel peg leg welded up with inserts so you can use an adjustable foot on it. We can get it welded up relatively quickly - the trick will be how quickly we can get it powder coated to match. We're not in control of that process and sometimes there's a waiting line. We'll monitor it and let you know.”

Beautiful craftsmanship! We ordered a custom table for our kitchen nook during our main floor remodel. It’s perfect and fits our space nicely. Loween Design Studios were attentive during the ordering process (even navigating the tariff threats in the US) and delivery was impeccable. Don’t hesitate to order from them! Can wait to finish the rest of the main floor, but the nook is now my favorite space!

The Loewen Design team is all-time. I found them on Etsy and then ended up on their website. The team scheduled a call with me to figure out which design would work best for our space since it is pretty small and I couldn't be happier with the results. I will say, the instructions we received were incorrect, but after a few calls with them they helped us figure out assembly. We love our table so much and get compliments on it all the time. 10/10 all around.

We ordered a custom-size walnut racetrack oval table with the Sarita edge on the Moraine base. Communication was good, construction lead time was reasonable. We were kept updated with progress and shipping was very fast to Portland, OR area. It arrived in two well-protected flat boxes. Assembly was easy with just a few bolts and screws. And WOW! What an incredible piece of furniture. This table is rock-solid, THICK heavy wood construction with some angle-iron struts underneath the tabletop for rigidity and stability—though it is so thick already. We shopped around for other options and this fit our need better than other options and was sized to our specs. The multitude of leg variations allowed us to design to fit our style and function. What more could you ask for? A+

I would 100% recommend Loewen Design Studios. We had them make our dining table, then our bench. Once the bench arrived, we realized Loewen was the only company that could make the perfect coffee table for our space. We absolutely love every single piece and are extremely happy! They provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process. Each piece reflects true expertise talent and craftsmanship. It is obvious that everything they make is made with love.

Loewan design studios is a wonderful company who does beautiful work and has an excellent customer service team. I had been looking for a kitchen table to fit my space for over 2 years when i came across this company. They have exceeded my expectations with the product they designed for me and i highly recommend them for any custom design. Thank you

I ordered a table and bench from Loewen Design Studio. It took me a month or more to finalize on the design. I kept changing my mind. What you see in store doesn’t always work with your space, need, and existing decor. Ted and Sharon were very patient with me. I love the table I got. It is sturdy, heavy, and good quality. It is worth the price to get the table you want and will use for years to come. I highly recommend them.

Working with Loewen Design studios was incredible. Excellent customer service all the way through. They had a call to ensure our table would be perfect for our space, kept our table longer when our home construction was delayed, and delivered it safely to us. The table and custom end tables are gorgeous! I love that it’s a family business that cares about sustainability too.

This table is stunning! It took me a while to decide on style and size but it turned out fabulous! I have a very small dining area and wanted a few seating options. I choose a 48” round with 2-20” leaves. The pictures are with the leaves installed. I have it set for six, but can easily accommodate eight. The customer service was fantastic. They were patient and offered many suggestions to help me decide. Thank you Loewen Design !

We ordered a custom table from Loewen and it looks and feels absolutely amazing. Nick, Sharon and Ted was communicative of the process every step of the way, and incredibly accommodating. Ted personally delivered the table with the utmost care and followed up with us too. 100% recommend and it's worth investing a high quality piece like this with a local carpenter.

Absolutely top notch

We love our new 60"square oak table with two 18" leaves. Quality is outstanding, Ted delivered it and was amazing! We cannot recommend this company enough.
