I am so thankful for Oleg helping me fix my car lock issue. He not only arrived relatively quickly after our phone call, but also notified me in advance to make sure I was fully prepared. Even though I was unfamiliar with the lock mechanisms of cars, Oleg took an extra step and explained the causes and solutions in a way that was easy to follow. Also, his level of flexibility about pricing was something to take note of. Because, despite quoting me from the start with a price outside my budget, he was considerate enough to work with my small budget and settle for an amount that worked for both of us. Oleg was a real professional. My keypad electronic lock was not working. Oleg worked hard to fix the existing lock, however it was defective. He came back with a new keypad and installed it this morning. It works perfectly. I would not hesitate to use his service again.

Had an after market key FOB. After programming I was told the FOB programming only allowed start using the FOB to press the start button. I was told it was because I had an after market FOB. The KIA factory FOB only needed to be in the car to allow push start. After the technician’s programming the KIA factory FOB no longer worked when in the car. It now acted like the aftermarket FOB, forcing me to use it to push the start button. That would indicate to me the programming was the issue, not the after market FOB (both FOBs have the same part number)

Thank you for your feedback. The aftermarket key fob used for this service was supplied by you. On this vehicle, programming is a standard procedure that applies to all keys at the same time and cannot be done partially for only one key.

The original factory key works correctly after programming, confirming the procedure was successful. When an aftermarket key does not support all functions, such as proximity push-to-start, it usually indicates the key is not fully compatible with the vehicle, even if the part number appears similar.

For full functionality, the part number, FCC ID, and frequency must all match the vehicle’s requirements.
