Went for an eye exam appointment. They got everything done and the service was great. Slightly late (about 20 minutes) so not perfect 5 stars, but great nonetheless. Everyone was really helpful

Horrible. Went in there and told it was a 44 dollar copay. Well the co pay was for something that was not needed that they didn’t even give me an option on. I’m calling the insurance for my kids because I don’t ever want to deal with them again and the manager was not even trying to help. She said that they prefer but not mandatory that the procedure for the copay is done. So they’re just trying to get more money out of you.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable & have some really cute frames! They also offer 40% off of a second pair which is great because I like to have a regular pair and also prescription sunglasses!

I went in for my appointment I had scheduled online for contacts. When I arrived a bill was sitting on the counter already for me to sign. I was told my insurance wouldn't cover a part of the exam. Fine, I'll pay the $44 for it. What shocked me was my appointment was changed to a glasses exam. I said I don't need glasses just contacts. I was told my insurance didn't cover contacts and it would be a completely different exam. I said no I wasn't paying for a contact exam when a glasses exam is the exact same thing. The lady behind the desk started to argue with me stating they are not the same prescription.
(So let me get this straight, you want me to do 2 exams, one for glasses and then one for contacts, then charge my insurance for one and the other from my pocket and you do the same exact procedure for both resulting in the same prescription strength... Tell me how that's correct?! Tell me how that's ok with your business practice's?!)
I have had glasses/contacts for 25 years and for me they are the prescription. I also asked if I get my exam here can I take my prescription elsewhere to purchase what I need, she said no. So why would I want to get my eyes checked here?! The lady tried to scam me out of $250+. I went to Walmart, paid $115 and got my prescription for both GLASSES AND CONTACTS.
This is seriously shady.

The inclusivity here is unmatched. We switched to them and had the first appt today and I cannot recommend them enough! Every person was kind, respectful, and the wait was very short. But being lgbtqia+ friendly was just unmatched. Thank you for being awesome to my kid and myself!!

Did not inform of additional cost...
I saw Alexander Dasalvo today. Let's just say I won't be back. He's good at what he does, but he nor his staff informed me of the added cost of a "single vision" eye exam. The person who does the tests previous to seeing him asked me if I wanted a "retinal test" that had a $44 price tag of which I agreed to. When I went to cash out I was told my visit cost $204. I only had a $10 copay, the office IS in network. So I agreed to $54. That test that was NEVER discussed as being in addition to the balance + tax. This is a BIG lesson. I tried calling the corporate phone number that is outsourced to India only to be hung up on repeatedly. Take heed of this warning ⚠️ Take a look at all of the complaints and lawsuits against this company....I wish I had! What a racket. Don't go to a BIG BOX...only private practice from now on.

Taking two stars off because they make us wait too long every time. They need to do better on their appointments. I waited almost an hour in the empty lobby and than another 25mins in a closed room. Otherwise great doctor and great staff.

I've been using my eye doctor in greenwood for going on 3 years now .first time needed glasses they have been great the staff and the Dr has been fantastic , just got my new Oakley transitionals love them thanks awesomeglasses

I ordered a new pair of glasses with MyEYE Dr a couple weeks ago. I love the glasses but have been having problems around the nose area. They said I could bring them in for adjustments. I've literally been in there at least 4 times for the adjustments. Each time they have been accommodating and understanding. Today 2/14, I went in to let them know it wasn't working. So, they suggested I get a completely new pair. They fitted me and I went on my way. I love this place and the people working there!
