If you’re lucky enough to have Sonia as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. From the moment our tour began, Sonia went above and beyond to make our time in Tasmania absolutely incredible. Her knowledge of Tasmania was outstanding whether it was the history, wildlife, hidden gems, local culture, or the best places to stop along the way, she always had fascinating insights to share. You could tell she genuinely loves Tasmania, and her passion made us appreciate every destination even more. What truly set Sonia apart, though, was her personality. She was warm, friendly, easy to get along with, and made everyone feel welcome from day one. She struck the perfect balance between being professional, organized, and incredibly fun, creating an atmosphere that felt more like traveling with a friend than being on a guided tour. Our Phillips Island Penguin Experience with Locally Yours was nothing short of amazing. The experience upgrade was well with the price, and the memories we made will last a lifetime. A truly unique and once in a lifetime experience. Joe, our Locally Yours host, was incredible. He shared a ton of knowledge with us and was extremely interesting, whether about the Penguin experience, Australian culture, or the nuances of Australian football (footy). It was like spending the day with a good friend. Thank you Joe and Locally Yours for an amazing day.
I spent almost three days in Melbourne and environs with Locke. He was amazing. His local knowledge was great, but the best part was that he was so much fun to spend time with. I could not have had a better time. I would recommend him to anyone visiting Melbourne!!! Five stars all the way!!!

Tasmania tour
Sonya had detailed historical and cultural information about Tasmania. She made the experience exciting and enjoyable. She had a bubbly personality and tailored the activities to our interests. Sonya knew the best places to spot wildlife. Sonya took us to many unique sights with detailed current and historical significance. She always had plenty of snacks and water. We had a wonderful time!! We would recommend booking with Localing and especially ask for Sonya.

We took a nearly 12-hour drive on the Great Ocean Road with a guide, Matthias. Overall, our experience was absolutely fun, very entertaining, and we were fully engaged by our guide whose knowledge was encyclopaedic.
We were lucky enough to sight kangaroos, see a koala at close quarters, although sadly, injured, and many of them up in the tree. We were able to see a kookaburra, and we were regaled with nearly fun stories of Australia, Melbourne, the Outback, Victoria, the shipwrecks, the lighthouses, and so on.
Highly recommended if you want to be connected to Australia in a very different way.
The booking with Localing was handled very professionally and transparently. Communication was prompt and was not overwhelming. Highlight was ofcourse the Great Ocean Road trip with Matthias as our guide. I had my reservation when Matthias said he was not a local but I need not have worried at all ! As an avid traveler and blogger, Matthias had fantastic knowledge about the places on the road, those well known and those hidden on the sides literally. He understood our interests and ensured to let us know about possible detours on the drive, and gave us some memorable sightings of kaolas and kangaroos. What we loved most was his own curiosity and excitement as a fellow traveler and we shared a lot of travel trivia, including his own exploration of Melbourne and Australia as an outsider. His choice of cafe and lunch place was exquisite, while always being attentive to our taste. He was generous to share tips to experience the city. He made us so comfortable on the trip giving us the privacy but also taking care of everything so well. End of the day, we felt we traveled with a friend!
We had an incredible time exploring Melbourne with Mark! Even with a very limited schedule, he managed to show us the best parts of the city without ever making the experience feel rushed.
What we appreciated most was his local perspective—it didn’t feel like a typical, 'touristy' circuit, but rather a genuine look at the city's character. Mark was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to be around. Highly recommended if you want a seamless and authentic Melbourne experience!
Harley was a first class guide…knowledgeable and fun at the same time. His ability to transition when a major road was blocked was most impressive. Food choices, pit stops and sharing the full flavor of Victoria was terrific! I would recommend Harley to anyone hoping to be in good hands …Harley’s got it all!
Duncan was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. Allowing us to make the most of our short time around Melbourne. He gave us the options for the day and allows us to do as much or as little as we wanted while at the same time giving us an insight to the history and current issues today.
Our full day tour to the Twelve Apostles could not have been better. Mark is a deeply knowledgable guide as well as a masterful story teller, making the history of the area come alive. We felt as though a dear friend had invited us to share his love for the country and the sites we visited. What a magnificent day!
