We went with guide Soffía for the afternoon tour. Since we where the only two people, we had a private tour. Our tour started early by 15 min in order to catch more daylight. We where informed about this change one day in advance, so this was no issue at all. From the meeting point, we start our tour to the glacier with a purpose-built vehicle. The vehicle parks close to the start of the glacier, so it is only a short walk until we put on our crampons. Walking on the ice using the crampons is already an experience! We walked around on the glacier, discovering multiple features including caves, creavesses and the blue ice. During the tour, we learned from our guide what a glacier is and how the different features emerge. We completely enjoyed our trip. 100% recomendation for this experience with LocalGuide.
