I'd give 10/10 if I could! Dr. Paula was amazing and took such good care of my kiddo. He has had really bad experiences in the past with other dentists and came in with a lot of anxiety. But she was so kind and patient and did everything she could to make him feel comfortable. And it worked. Despite getting four teeth pulled, he was smiling and happy and said he would definitely go back to Dr. Paula. She helped alleviate his anxiety - and mine too! Her staff were helpful and kind and helped us figure out insurance and booking future appointments easily. I'm so happy we found this practice. Dr. Paula truly has a gift!

Really enjoying our experience at Kind Kids! My daughter was nervous for her first check up & cleaning, but the staff were warm and in tune with her feelings from start to finish. They have toys in the lobby, a tv in the ceiling, comfy pillows, fun sunglasses, and prizes. They take the time to explain/show kiddos what they’re doing and are efficient in what they do. For highly anxious kids or children with sensory needs Dr. Paula is the perfect dentist for these kiddos. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lobo, she has such a great policy for patients who don’t have insurance and makes quality dental work accessible. She explains everything so clearly and empowers parents to understand what their child’s needs are now and in the future. She has everything you could think of to make a child comfortable from start to finish- total luxury experience compared to when I was a kid. I can honestly say this dental visit changed something in me as a mom. I rarely leave reviews, but I hope this helps other parents the way Dr. Paula helped me and my boys.
I brought my almost 3-year-old in for his first-ever dental appointment because of an urgent issue — his front tooth turned grey after an injury. I felt so anxious and honestly ashamed that I hadn’t brought him in sooner. I was bracing myself for judgment or for being rushed through yet another appointment, like many of us have experienced in pediatric healthcare.
But the moment we walked in, Dr. Paula made all of that anxiety melt away.
She greeted us personally with warmth and understanding — not just professionally, but as a fellow mom. She didn’t make me feel embarrassed or behind; she made me feel supported. Her waiting room is filled with toys and costumes — my son picked a Hulk costume and wore it the entire appointment 😂. It sounds small, but that playfulness created safety and comfort, which is everything for a young child at the dentist.
What truly makes Dr. Paula exceptional is the way she works. She’s clearly highly intelligent and skilled, but she’s also patient, calm, and completely present. She didn’t rush us, even though our appointment was at 4:30 and her office closes at 5. She stayed late without hesitation to talk through everything with me while my boys continued to play — and not once did she make me feel like a burden or that her time was limited.
I’ve seen many pediatric healthcare providers over the years — pediatricians, nurses, other dentists — and I’ve never felt what I felt after this appointment: that someone cared about my kids as much as I do.
Dr. Paula has that rare gift of blending professionalism, intelligence, and deep compassion. You can tell she was meant to work with children — and she does it with such heart. That’s what sets her apart. She’s not just doing her job; she’s showing up for families in a way that stays with you. I literally called my mom in the car just to tell her how amazing this experience was!!
Both of my sons will now be seeing Dr. Paula going forward, and I’ve already recommended her to my closest friends and family. If you’re a parent who’s ever walked out of a dentist office feeling dismissed or unseen — go see Dr. Paula. She’s the kind of provider we all hope to find for our kids!

Literal MAGIC ✨ after receiving a treatment plan for what would’ve been a nerve wrecking experience, we came in for a second opinion for my almost 4 year old. Dr. Paula is a very informative, kind and caring dentist. You can tell how dedicated she is as she puts a lot of care in all of her treatments.
