The excellent customer service started the day we called Gage as he arrived shortly after our phone call to assess our project. The professionalism we experienced from Gage and the crew continued from start to finish. The job we had was no small task and, although we went over the original estimate, communication was prompt and honest. Together we worked through options in real time to find the best solutions to tough decisions often making changes on the fly. With all this happening, Gage and the crew never once made us feel uncomfortable and kept expressing their main goal was our satisfaction with the end result. Although we're done with step one, we hope to see them again as we move onto the next project.
After another contractor failed to build a pond that would hold water, we found Lindsey Excavating. They are spot on with their professionalism, knowledge, and expertise. Gage has always kept us in the loop and been upfront with pricing and expectations. They will be the only ones we call for our next project. Thanks for a job well done!!!

The team at Lindsey Excavation are true professionals and do amazing work! We just built a new home on the White River and Gage and his team took an unusable eroding shoreline and did a bank stabilization and gathering area. It’s absolutely amazing what they did. They also did everything from our building pad, driveway, yard and stone work.
If you are looking for true professionals and great people to work with I highly recommend this company.

Contacted Gage Lindsey of Lindsey Excavation for driveway rebuilding. He kept his appointments, answered my phone calls and returned them when I left messages. The work done was outstanding. Material, shaping, and grading were done as quoted and planned. His crew arrived when they said they would, worked as they were scheduled, and performed in a professional and courteous manner. I did not personally use Lindsay excavation. Though my tax dollars are being spent on the job.Though I have used numerous contractors over my 62 years of walking this earth. Trying to get someone to show up is a challenge. Salesville fire department is my neighbor.This gentleman, along with his crew, showed up 6 am yesterday morning, working a long hard day, demolishing the old fire department. Misty light rain, back on the job this morning. He works hard for a five rating.

Lindsey's Excavation removed the trees that were lifeless and tangled with overgrown vegetation from my 1-acre of woods. They also thinned out a large portion of the lot creating multiple, lovely tree swaths with open air spaces in between - just right for taking a walk through. Gage and his crew were very professional, hard workers, and good listeners. This is an exemplary company.
Lindsey's Excavation is a top-notch, family-owned and operated business. We recently hired them to stabilize the riverbank behind our home and install stone steps leading to the riverbed, as well as steps up the hill to our house. They did a fantastic job!
Gage and his team were a pleasure to work with—professional, friendly, and clearly experts at what they do. They also recommended adding gutter drainage to prevent hillside erosion, which will make life much easier for our lawn crew.
Their pricing is reasonable, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. If you need excavation or any type of dirt work, I highly recommend Lindsey's Excavation. You won’t be disappointed!

This is our second experience with Lindsey’s Excavation and we simply don’t and won’t use anyone else. First job we worked with the Corps of Engineers whom actually suggested these guys and someone else. Word of mouth on the other wasn’t good and neighbor knew owner so - sold.
First job was to put steps, some gabian, and this jetty that points upstream instead downstream (as prescribed by C.O.E) for erosion control along our river bank two years ago. Can’t say enough about the work they did. About a year later steps shifted a little due to settling and there were areas where rain had washed out under the steps - it happens, no big deal. Came out, said okay and fixed it no charge. No problems since.
Second job, the areas that we didn’t have done (and they highly recommended we fix it at the time) needed fixing (gasp). They started work two weeks prior to Christmas and delivered. With the rain and time frame I expected them to complete the job first week of new year. So I check in on a Saturday before the holiday and there they are putting in 8 hours to knock it out. Came back Sunday prior to Christmas for about 6 hours of finishing touches. Anywhere else would get you, “we can’t get to it until after the holidays.” Really says all you need to know about them and, honestly, nobody does that anymore.
Lastly, if this diatribe doesn’t sell you, my two neighbors upstream came over during their work and contracted out the same river bank work…thus making me a trend setter for the first (and arguably last) time in my life.
