At a time when a family will need every bit of support Liam and his team were truly wonderful. Totally professional and thoughtful, but also able to be a friend helping you along the way. I always felt like we were his top priority every time we spoke to him. Every aspect of the service was exactly how we wanted it to be. I cannot thank him and his team enough.

First class service from initial meeting right through to the service. All of the staff including Liam, other office staff and the drivers were professional and displayed the perfect amount of compassion and empathy without being in any way intrusive. Communication was excellent throughout. Made a sad and dificult time much easier. Highly recommended.

Following the loss of my father, Trevor, we found ourselves in the position of arranging a funeral for the first time and had no idea where to begin. From our very first meeting, Liam was incredibly kind, compassionate and supportive. We wanted something a little more personal and unique to reflect Dad’s life and personality, and Liam fully embraced our ideas from the start. Nothing felt too much trouble, and he helped us create a service that truly felt like Trevor. His guidance, patience and encouragement gave us the confidence to make choices that felt right for our family. Throughout the entire process, Liam was always there to answer questions, offer advice and provide reassurance when we needed it most. What could have been an overwhelming experience felt much easier because of his support. By the end of it all, Liam no longer felt like just our funeral director – he felt like a friend. We will always be grateful for the care, dignity and kindness he showed both Trevor and our family during such a difficult time. Thank you, Liam, for helping us give Dad the farewell he deserved.

Everyone will know that the death of a loved one can be very stressful. From my first contact with Liam I found him to be an extremely calming and reassuring person which is just what you need in that situation. I recently lost my wife, way before I should have and I was not prepared in any way. Searching for a Funeral Directors had never been a conversation we had and so I was left with the huge task of trying to find someone who would do her proud. After a few conversations and looking around a little it quickly became apparent that Liam Staffords was by far the best for my family's needs. After just the initial phone call, I already felt more at ease, Liam (and his team) were immensely helpful, explained everything fully and informed me about government assistance that may be available. The entire process for me boiled down to telling Liam what I wanted and letting him and his team do everything, no stress and no additional time required. The service was also impeccable. We are not religious and Liam was able to accommodate that and we had Anna-Marie as our celebrant I we could not be happier. On what was ostensibly the worst day of my life, Liam and his team made it that much easier, the flowers they arranged were beautiful, the order of service was nicely laid out and beautifully presented and it all came together perfectly. I know a review is not normally a place to thank people, but I have never been accused of being normal. To Liam, Anna-Marie and the team, Thank you. Thank you for making the process so simple. Thank you for your compassion and making us feel so well looked after. Thank you for looking after Claire and ensuring her wishes were observed in such a beautiful way, and thank you for you continued support even now. Liam you are such a kind, caring person who supported our family through this very difficult time. We were lost but you gently guided us through the process in a very patient, unhurried manner. Your communication was excellent and you regularly checked in with the family to ensure we felt supported and were doing ok. The service itself including taking my Mum into church the night before was dignified and you and your team have a beautiful understanding of timing and our need to spend some moments with Mum at certain points. My husband had very good care by Liam. Liam is passionate about getting it right, and trust me he does. We as a family knew instinctively when we first met Liam and his staff that as sad and upset as were, they really helped us to go through the procedure. Liam also went out of his way to collect my husband from County hospital having been messed about on their closing times. I can honestly recommend this firm, Liam runs a well dedicated organised funeral home…..

Katie did an amazing job to prepare mum for the Chapel of Rest . Mum looked at peace and very much herself - thank you . Gary and Ryan were so professional on the day as our drivers and put us at ease with compassion and care . Liam was amazing at keeping in contact with us , explaining everything and involving us in all of the arrangements with sensitivity about our individual wishes for the funeral . Using Liam and his team for my mum’s funeral was an experience we simply couldn’t have managed without their support. I had never been through anything like this before and we didn’t know what to expect, but Liam was there with us every step of the way. His kindness, patience and understanding made an incredibly difficult and overwhelming time feel calmer and much more manageable. It was clear from the very beginning that he genuinely cared. This wasn’t just a standard service or something done quickly or routinely, everything was handled with real thought and sensitivity. From the major decisions to the smallest touches, every detail was considered and organised perfectly. On the day itself, every member of the team was professional, warm and compassionate. They made us feel supported, included, and never alone. So many people commented on how beautifully planned, calm and seamless everything was, and that is entirely down to Liam and his team. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly. It’s not something you ever want anyone to need, but when that time does come, I would have complete confidence in recommending Liam and his team. They made an unbearable time so much more bearable, and for that we will always be deeply grateful.
