In Florida you can never tell when you’re going to get a good handyman service to come because a lot of them are scams. That is not the case here. John was one of the best Handy Man I’ve had the pleasure to work with. He is an expert in this field and will educate you on best practices. I just needed a few simple things done and he got it done. I will be using them again for all future projects.
I had this company hired for hanging back a bifolding door that fell. After fidgiting for almost an hour the handyman told me that I need a new door. I would have assumed that a competent handyman would've known from the start if the door is not repairable. Following, he install a vanity lamp that he couldn't make it work, again he said to call an electrician. So, once more he waisted time. Finally he install one safety bar successfully. I didn't want him to install the second bar and be charged for more time. I paid $270 for just installing a safety one bar in the bathroom. I call this highway robbery!!!!! When I spoke with the owner, Tom, he promised that it will be ok, even if he has to return all the payment. In the meantime, I went overseas for few months. Upon return, as promised by Tom, the owner, I had asked him to return my money. Now, he changed the story and agreed to return $150. Over a month has passed and no $150 back.
I truly think that Tom was not sincere and that is shameful. Based on this bad experience, please judge yourself if this company should get your business!!!
I have all the interaction with Mr. Tom in writing.
If I ever get the promised $150, will adjust this review.
Few hours after the review was posted, got a phone call with the offer of sending the refund through Zell or check. 2 weeks later I received a check for $150.

Very pleased with drywall replacement and repair service. Matt the serviceman that was sent to do the work was efficient, timely and careful. He listened to our issues and attended to them all. He went above and beyond to procure the paint as well.

Made a appointment with the owner last week. He was able to schedule for day I had open following week. Albert was the handy person they sent. He was very professional, did a great job! Was very tidy. Great service.

Looking for a handy man… found this one.. reviews look good.. but I called him in the morning left a message… nothing… just got home it’s 4:35 pm… still getting the answering machine!!! When that happens that means to me they don’t want my services??? If they are that good.. but don’t return the customers message it must not mean that the customer not important!!!! Keep looking👎😡

I called Tom and Sons Handyman Services to remove some area carpets from my apartment.
From the time I called to set up the appointment until the time the rugs were removed the transaction ran so smoothly. Jose showed up on time, worked very efficiently and quickly…he was a perfectionist about the unit being left clean from all carpet fibers as well. The charge was very reasonable. I would give this company more than 5 stars if I could. I highly recommend Tom & Sons Handyman Services to anyone looking for a compsny that gives stellar service!
Tom & Son were excellent. Very responsive, came quickly, and did an amazing job. Very friendly, professional, and work was perfect. Jose who came to our home did an excellent job even with some problems we had from the manufacturer. Jose helped with the issue and we were able to finish the project. Definitely will use for future needs.
