Avoid dangerous scam
If you value your health and safety, stay far, far away from this clinic. I just wish someone warned me before it was too late.
I was quoted £5,200+ but ended up paying over nearly double with hidden fees and constant high-pressure upselling. From the moment they had my money upfront on day one prior to any work, I was no longer treated as a patient—just a number they wanted out the door.
The staff in the lobby were fake, rude, and judgmental, more focused on their phones than the patients. The first dentist they assigned me to was the worst: passive-aggressive, unprofessional, and outright dangerous. She tried to upsell me on crowns and to destroy my natural teeth despite my teeth being healthy, and when I refused, she became hostile and aggressive.
She ignored my medical concerns, injected me with so much anaesthetic I blacked out, and even prepared another injection after I begged her not to. I was left feeling paralysed, convinced I was having a panic attack.
To make matters worse, she blasted rap music at full volume during surgery. The atmosphere was hostile and terrifying. When I finally got up and rushed out in fear for my life, she kicked open a manager’s office door and screamed at me in front of everyone. The management’s fear of her said everything about how this clinic is run.
On my final day, I was left sitting in the lobby until 3 a.m., alongside a queue of exhausted patients, all waiting for one over-worked dentist. I refused to let her operate on me and had to buy new flights home for the extra days so they could finally finish. The whole process was chaotic, badly managed, and uncaring—I constantly had to chase for updates, feeling like a burden.
This place is a disorganised mess. They don’t care about health or safety—only money. Their Instagram and fake reviews are smoke and mirrors. A legitimate clinic would never operate like this.
Today, I’m still suffering from daily tooth pain and nerve damage, relying on daily painkillers since my visit last month. I have been to see multiple dentists to try and rectify the problems and deeply regret ever setting foot in Lema.
