Went in to get a check engine light "diagnosed". $183 for a diagnosis and I was told by Legend Motoworks after the diagnosis exactly what I had told them when I brought the car in! I'm not sure what Legend's definition of diagnosis is, but I did not get any new information to seek a solution for almost $200. Of course they wanted over $300 for a deeper diagnosis. Umm...if your first diagnosis wasn't a diagnosis, then the second diagnosis will probably not be a diagnosis either. On top of that, I was promised a complimentary inspection of belts, hoses, fluids, etc. When I picked up the car Joe said, "well, its an old car, blah blah blah so we didn't do the inspection". Meanwhile the tech is just hanging out by the desk waiting to go home. No actual diagnosis provided, no PROMISED inspection, insulted my car after I paid and they didn't even take accountability for not providing me with what they promised, and I walked out of there upset and they let me do that because the got my $183 so they don't care. But I can level their $183 gain with this review. You guys took $183 from me and did absolutley nothing but this review and my opinion via word of mouth as a driver in this city may cost way more than that for your business. Unfortunatley, for a small business like this, they have to cheat people to compete with the big shops. Don't go here. They don't provide any service cheaper that someone else can provide. They obviously have no code of ethics for their business as they didn't even offer an apology for not doing promised work, just excuses and insults to my beater car. There are just far too many other options for vehicle work. Go to someone who has some ethical structure to their business. That is pretty important.

Today's cars will last much longer with oil and filter changes more often. Legend's Motor Works provides a complete inspection of your car, with the oil and filter change. I highly recommend this shop.
