Don’t take your children here! The office personnel are lazy, uninformed, and have no clue what’s going on. It took us 2 months to get a call for therapy for one of our daughters after my divorce. Instead of getting to us within a timely manner and assign a counselor, they offered a counselor to one of my other children we did not request anything for. The meds dr reads your child’s file every time you go in and rude. There’s been a few times we started to head there, she would call and want to do it over the phone to go home. Once we arrived just read the file and off you go. Horrible place!!!!!

If you are looking for a psychiatrist who actually treats patients as individuals, look elsewhere. Legacy Behavioral Health operates on a rigid 15-minute encounter model that prioritizes corporate turnover over actual medicine. The doctors here do not have the time—or seemingly the desire—to do research or look into updated treatments. I presented information on a specific sleep medication for my 26-year-old autistic son. Rather than taking the initiative to research the medication and get back to me with an informed medical decision, the psychiatrist simply denied it because he was unfamiliar with it. To make matters worse, he then requested that I either find a new psychiatrist or get a primary care doctor to handle the prescription. Passing the buck like this is completely unprofessional. He essentially admitted that he just wants to coast through brief, 15-minute appointments rather than doing the deep clinical work a psychiatrist is supposed to do. Very disappointing.

Extremely dissatisfied with the care at Legacy Behavioral Health. These psychiatrists do not have time to actually be doctors; they only have time for 15-minute assembly-line appointments so the clinic can make money. All they do is take notes and push the absolute baseline prescriptions to protect their licenses, rather than treating the actual patient. I brought new research regarding a medication to help my 26-year-old autistic son sleep. Because the psychiatrist was unfamiliar with it, he flat-out refused it. A real doctor would have taken the time to do their own research and follow up with a proper medical opinion. Instead, he told me to find a new psychiatrist or beg a primary care doctor to prescribe it. It is incredibly unprofessional to abandon a patient just because you don't want to look outside your narrow comfort zone. Now I am forced to find a new provider because this one cares more about watching the clock than helping his patients. Avoid this place if you want actual, individualized healthcare.

This place should not be able to practice. They should know that what they are handling are very sensitive situations. I had an urgency to see a therapist, made the appointment with some Monique lady but she didn't show up to the first appointment. I called to let them know and yet they didn't have the nerve to call me back or even apologize. It's very clear that these ppl are far from professionals, so DONT waste your time with these unprofessional people.

Not very happy with them, a fellow friend tried to be seen there today and was turned away due to a balance she owes them. She is at a point where she really needs help and is talking about self harm, if this is a mental health facility that is supposed to help people in these situations they shouldn’t be turning people away because they have a balance if anything happens to her, blood will be in there gands

Sabrina Croff is an amazing Counsler. She has given me such GREAT advice like breathing exercises to calm myself down. I did them and continue to do them (although I did not think they would work). She has also taught me ways to deal with my anger properly and healthy because I would yell terrible things and break doors, punch holes in my walls. Now I am not doing that anymore, thanks to Sabrina. I am trying to change my anger patterns and do healthy things. Without her suggestions I would not be where I’m at now. I owe it to myself and say daily prayers. Without Sabrina’s help and my prayers I do not know where I’d be today. Thank you for all your help! Christina Shalosky

This review is specifically for Nurse Johnson. My daughter had an appointment with her today for an evaluation. She is usually seen by Dr. Chahal, but due to limited availability, we were scheduled with Nurse Johnson. From the very start of the meeting, her demeanor came across as stern and aggressive. I made it clear that my daughter is on the autism spectrum and had just returned home, and that the topics being discussed were sensitive and would require a level of empathy and care. Despite this, Nurse Johnson continued to question my daughter in a way that felt more like an interrogation than a supportive evaluation. It lacked compassion and made my child visibly uncomfortable. Children with mental health challenges, especially those on the spectrum, need to feel safe, heard, and understood—not pressured. Unfortunately, the lack of empathy and appropriate approach caused the session to end abruptly. We have since rescheduled with Dr. Chahal. We have been patients at Legacy for over two years, and this was our first experience like this. It was very disappointing.

Horrible. They are incredibly disorganized and consistently struggle to maintain proper communication with patients, and I can tell by the other reviews this isn't a one time occurrence. Some of the associates who help with intake are lovely people who gave us high hopes for this facility, but upon speaking with multiple of their psychiatric staff, it seems this won't be a good fit. All power to you if you are able to find a suitable match at this facility but it seems as though some of the employees need a bit of assistance ensuring they're providing the help they're being payed for.

Our Therapist is amazing. Updating my review as of 3/5/2026. Wish I could give 0 Stars. They are absolutely horrible. Unfortunately our amazing therapist left Legacy several weeks ago. My children have been without much needed therapy for weeks now. Called and got nowhere. Not one person there has followed thru on ANYTHING. I went there and spoke in person and still got nowhere. Do not return phone calls. Very disappointed in Legacy. Their communication skills are non existent.

I had such a great experience at legacy for my 15 year old severely autistic daughter. She was seen by Khatriena Johnson ARNP and she had a thorough visit that was not rushed. She really took her time assessing my daughter and making recommendations and medication changes that really help calm her down. The front staff is amazing especially Joy. She was so sweet , kind, professional, and efficient. I would definitely recommend Legacy Behavioral Health Center.
