A fabulous dining experience with great service and amazing food. It was our anniversary and multiple staff members wished us a happy anniversary, and wrote it on our dessert. The food itself was the best food I’ve ever had - we got the tuna, veal sweetbreads (the best thing we ate), duck, rabbit, and hazelnut dessert - all fantastic. Definitely check it out!

Expensive but personable, I came alone but was welcomed by the company of the sommelier, Quincy.
The halibut and chicken patty with foie gras were excellent, as were the wine pairings. Should’ve noted the wine names
Finished with delectable chocolate cake god i’d go back just for the cake! Need to try the veal sweetbread next time

going out on a limb and saying this will be my favorite restaurant of 2026. nothing missed. first time trying sweetbreads and now i’m going to seek it out on every menu. could have drank the sauce like soup. everything is sophisticated and unique from the pike mousse to the lobster au poivre. going to be dreaming about the pomme dauphine that came with the lobster and the baba au rhum. seriously one of the best desserts i’ve had in ages. love everything about this place!!

Came here for my partners birthday celebration and it was a hit !
First off, you’re greeted with lovely staff where you check in and they do have coat check.
You wait patiently with some nice seating beside their beautiful entrance bar.
We took our seats in the inner dining area and loved the open kitchen concept. You can see the chefs/team preparing your food as well as hear them too.
We decided to split everything we ordered and they did such an awesome job serving us with our own dishes for each ordered enter (hence why the portion looks smaller).
One of my favorite parts was the servers left the sauce pan on the side for us especially with the Ris de veau à l'estragon. That sauce was my favorite and would have scrapped it with the bread if given another chance.
Lastly, if I were to order a dish over again… it would have to be the Ris de veau à l'estragon or the Canette à l'orange. I believe that my partner enjoyed the side pan they left for us. Please see photos and videos for more context on our orders !

The food was good, but not outstanding.
The leek was fresh and the hazelnut paired well with its flavor.
The filet de boeuf was good, particularly with the bone marrow mousse.
Tout le Lapin is the house specialty and didn't disappoint.
The hazelnut entreme wasn't great; the hazelnut overpowered the rest of the flavors.
The creme brule was huge, but the green infusion made it less tasty than it would have been without it (my wife disagrees and liked the infusion).
The service was excellent!

My husband and I went with a lot of anticipation to Le Coucou. The atmosphere is excellent. We were excited but it went downhill from there.
The service felt half hearted - the people serving and presenting the food did so with indifference and no attentiveness. Smiles and warmth were lacking, the finished food was cleared after a long time, the table was not cleaned in between courses.
The quality of some of the food was excellent including the dessert, some not so much - especially the fish my husband chose which was rubbery.
Since service for us is paramount, having eaten at several Michelin star restaurants in Manhattan and around the world, this felt not worth it and not a repeat.

Le Coucou is special. The food is rich, classic, and perfectly done without feeling over the top. Every dish feels thoughtful, from the sauces to the presentation.
The room is beautiful but still comfortable, and the service is calm and confident. It’s the kind of place you go for a real dining experience, not just a meal. Worth it.
