I found Ashina in Grade 11, and shes been so amazing to me while I figure out the challenges I faced in Functions that year. I am in Grade 12 now and I can honestly my understanding and confidence definitely improved with her help! Although the low marks I get is all because of the tests in class and my anxiety because of the time limit as well as the different teaching styles I have faced with teachers. With Ashina I can say that her teaching style has helped a lot! Recommend to anyone who needs math help 🫶

I’ve been learning math with Ms.Ashina since Grade 8, and she has consistently been patient and clear in her explanations. Whenever I don’t understand a concept, she takes the time to explain it in a different way until it makes sense. She also creates a supportive environment where asking questions feels encouraged and never judged, which has made a big difference in my confidence with math.

I had a great experience learning from Miss Ashina. I was struggling with Grade 12 calculus, vectors, and advanced functions and needed to improve my grades to get into university. With her help, my grades improved significantly and I was accepted into all 8 universities I applied to. She also helped me with first-year calculus and second-year managerial finance at McMaster, which made a big difference. And helped me get the grades I wanted. Miss Ashina is very friendly, motivating, and always makes sure you truly understand the material. I got the results I wanted and would highly recommend her.

I was having some trouble with my first year level accounting class and faced challenges with the concept. Ms. Ashina worked with me through the chapters and explained each topic with time and care to make sure I understood everything thoroughly. Ashina is an excellent tutor and is extremely patient. After getting a 50 on my calculus midterm I started tutoring with her and then got an 86 on my final exam. She has plenty of resources and will cater to you and explain things in multiple ways if you’re not understanding yet. As somebody whose had multiple tutors throughout high school I can confidently say she’s the best tutor i’ve had. She is also just generally very nice and accommodating.

Ashina was amazing—extremely friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. She was completely non-judgmental about my lack of math skills, which made me feel comfortable asking questions and learning at my own pace.
