I had Arabela as my teacher online from March-November 2025 and have only the best things to say about her. She has a very gentle, warm, and creative teaching style. On top of that, she was extremely accommodating to my schedule adapting as needed to make our lessons work in the best ways for both of us. She provided me several resources and materials for homework, came up with challenging yet creative ways to "think" in Spanish, and always gave constructive criticism. After 6 months, I found myself reading Spanish confidently, and being able to hold basic conversations with friends. Part of my learning journey involved writing short fictional stories in Spanish to expand my vocabulary. Arabela was very supportive with these and made it a fun experience to brainstorm situations within the stories and helped me incorporate day to day conversation styles you'd find in Mexico.
Apart from being a very effective teacher, she's a wonderful person and has a passion for learning languages herself. I plan to restart lessons with her in 2026. If you have the opportunity to have her as a teacher, take advantage! You won't be disappointed! Valió la pena!

We were looking for intensive Spanish classes for the 4 weeks we were planning to spend in CDMX. Learn Spanish in Mexico City offered the flexibility and personalized instruction that were a good fit for us. Spent 2 days with Fernanda and 2 days with Jonathan. Both of them were fantastic! We started each day in a new neighborhood, walking around and conversing in Spanish. We never ran out of topics and both were incredibly patient with me (and my beginner-intermediate level Spanish). Then, in the afternoon, we transitioned to the classroom to build on certain grammar and vocabulary issues that came up earlier in the day. Learning Spanish is a long process that requires a lot of dedication, but nonetheless I feel with just a few days with Fernanda and Jonathan I improved significantly.

I was extremely happy with my Spanish learning experience with Feres (Fernanda) as my teacher. I have been to several schools in the past and only had been able to take my Spanish to a certain level. This experience helped me break out of my level and took my skills to a whole new level. Feres really helped me understand concepts in the language that were very helpful. I am elated at my new confidence level. In the past i had grooved a number of errors. Fernanda pointed out problem areas in a very positive way. Once I got my Spanish on a better path, i developed so much more confidence with speaking and listening. I did 5 hours per day for 7 days and it went so quick. Never a boring moment. Feras was very intuitive in knowing which activities would be most helpful in helping me increase my confidence with speaking and which ones would challenge me the most in increasing my vocabulary. Highly recommend this school. A wonderful experience and already planning to return next year. Keep up the good work!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Jonathan as my tutor for my two week program. We never ran out of interesting things to talk about, and he was very good at constantly assessing my Spanish level and tailoring the lessons to ensure I was always learning. I particularly enjoyed having lessons in different neighborhoods all throughout the city. This allowed me to both improve my Spanish and visit cool parts of Mexico City. I came into the program with a solid intermediate level of Spanish, but now I feel much more advanced. Jonathan helped me understand Spanish as it is spoken in the real world in Mexico, and he also had many interesting historical facts about both the language and Mexican culture. Everyone I dealt with at Learn Spanish in Mexico City was professional, accommodating, and made every effort to make sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend signing up for some lessons if you want to take your Spanish to the next level!

Daniela was a fantastic teacher for my one week of intensive Spanish lessons. I booked five days of six-hour lessons, and Daniela planned the time very well and efficiently.
