One of the best food and service waterfront restaurant

We had such a wonderful experience at La Vue Waterfront Restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing — beautifully prepared, delicious, and full of flavour. Everything was fantastic from start to finish.
We had foie gras and quail for entree, absolutely delicious.
For main course,duck a l'orange and the lamb, both amazing. The Lamb sauce was incredible!
For dessert we shared the profiteroles, delicious!!!
All these with the beautiful view of the story bridge!
A special mention to Chef Ronaldo, the owner, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and such an amazing host. His passion for the restaurant and genuine care for his guests really made our experience even more special.
It’s not often you find a place with both exceptional food and such warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time at La Vue and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful dining experience in Brisbane. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

My wife and I had the most exceptional and unforgettable experience dining at La Vue. The food was delightful, location stunning at night and the service even better. Thank you so much for making it such a lovely experience.
I went here for my 60th birthday dinner this week with friends. Great location, excellent food and wine and attentive staff. A wonderful experience - loved it.
Try being a litte more humane
So I booked a table for this venue and unfortunately had to cancel and got the strangest test response with emojis. I appreciate that it was a cancellation (over 48 hours before the booking by the way) but the sad faces made me feel guilty and just not keen to return or try to book again. Perhaps a few words (a sentence even or phone call) would be more humane?
Such a beautiful welcoming feeling, the atmosphere, the service and most importantly the cuisine excellent. Thank you for making my son’s birthday a wonderful experience! We will be back! 💕🥂
Dining experience matches the lovely river views
First of all the location right on theBrisbane River in the CBD is lovely and easily accessible. Thea la carte menu offers good choices and the service is professional and friendly at the same time. We enjoyed our meals and will certainly return. Easily one of the city’s best and most consistent restaurants, with a French theme.
We attended La Vue on Sunday for the first time and will definitely be back. The food and view were phenomenal, and there wasn’t a single meal that came out to our large party that anyone had any complaints about.
The scallops for entrée and duck for main were the favourites, although it was tough competition as everything was absolutely delicious.
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent food in a beautiful and very comfortable location.
La Vue Waterfront is easy walking distance from the Howard Smith Wharves area along the Brisbane River and has a varied menu serving many French classics and modern Australian dishes all served with a complimentary waterfront view.

La Vue est superb! Yes it truly is the view is superb along with the food, the staff and the venue. We cannot wait to go back a little taste of France on our doorstep. Delicious merci
I had a very disappointing experience here.The confit duck was very dry possibly I suspect it had been left in the fat for too long Even worse the skin had not been crisped and was just a layer of greasy skin The quail was just okay but again but again rather dry

A wonderful experience from start to finish.
The food was absolutely exquisite. For main courses, we had the prawns, which were incredibly delicious with a perfectly balanced combination of flavours, and a beef dish cooked exactly to perfection—tender, juicy, and beautifully prepared.
For dessert, we ordered profiteroles filled with rich chocolate and served with ice cream. The portion was very generous, and every bite was a real delight.
The service from the two waitresses was absolutely impeccable. They were warm, attentive, and very friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
In addition, the view of the Story Bridge is simply beautiful, and the restaurant’s interior is cosy, warm, and very inviting.
I will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommended.
