This guy is so special Al went out of his way to make this the most memorable fishing trip for my family he was great from start to finish we didn’t have to do anything he did everything from put bait on hooks to taking the fish off was fantastic with my children I would not recommend anyone else to take you out on the lake keep doing what you do Al !! Caught tons of fish will be doing this every year from here on out 👍👍👍✌️
We went for an all day charter with Alan. We've been on a lot of charters but this one hit the mark in every way. Alan was knowledgeable and was taking us around the lake to hot spots where our group pulled in pickerel, bass and even a pike. Alan handled the bait and net but otherwise let us do the fishing after instructing us in the most effective technique.
Boat was comfortable and accessible. Bathroom breaks were managed as well. We're already looking at when our next booking will.

Thank you! It was a pleasure meeting your family
My husband and I booked a half day private fishing charter for our anniversary. Neither of us are experienced anglers but Alan was very knowledgeable and led us to make several catches. We caught and cooked our dinner that night and it was a very special experience. As a side note I am a wheelchair user and Alan made the whole process very easy for me. Alan is a great guide and I highly recommend booking with him!

Thank you for choosing to spend your special day with me
Al and staff welcomed Nipissing First Nation Families over this past weekend, and everything was outstanding!
From the preplanning, to the arrival/transportation and making sure each Family in every Hut had exactly what they needed and were comfortable.
Him and his staff were very patient with Families arriving at different points in the morning to shuttle us out. He made sure they had everything they needed while dropping them off, showed them all the amenities of each Hut and made sure all holes were drilled and the huts were warm.
They were also very fast and friendly to communicate with leading up to the rental, as well as while on the ice. Someone had to leave early in a rush, and someone else forgot their phone charger. Both occasions he came back out to pick them up and to bring his own battery pack without hesitation.
Miigwech for having us again, on behalf of Nipissing First Nation
I had an incredible experience with Lake Nipissing outfitters. It was a big 4 day event with 43 women ice fishing. I was warmly greeted, shuttled to our warm, clean (new mattresses), comfortable hut. Alan and crew were very professional, provided excellent communication, helpful, checked in regularly & did their best to put us on to fish.
I highly recommend this outfit and look forward to seeing them again next year!!
Just back from a 3 day weekend stay on the ice with Lake Nipissing Outfitters and a large group of female anglers. There were over 40 of us, spread out between 12 cabins of different sizes and layouts. Most cabins have sleeping and eating space for 4-6 people but there are also a few smaller ones if needed. The cabins are necessarily rustic but still very comfortable and situated in a spot with the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Al and his main man Glenn couldn’t have been any more service oriented if they’d tried. Five star friendly. From arrival and prompt transportation out to the spot, to checking on our heating and water supplies, to being ready to address our every need including drilling a choice of outside spots for tip ups and help with braving the elements. They made sure that we were well looked after. The whole camp is very well organized. They checked on us daily, providing a direct line for any emergencies. On Saturday Glenn’s wife came around with baked goods available for purchase and I would highly recommend the lemon blueberry loaf. So good with our morning coffee! I would definitely come back. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
The team made our trip memorable! They gave our group 100% of their attention for the four days we were there.
Al and Glen checked in multiple times in the day, made sure we had propane (it was minus 26 Celsius), toilet paper, minnows and even offered to go to town for any supplies we ran out of or forgot. They even took care of the toilet daily (which we really appreciated).
When the fishing in hut 1 was slow (day and a half of zero catches), they even offered their expert advice!
Our group was large (44) and our hut was first to check in at 7 am. They were right on time and they helped us load up all our supplies and then safely drove us out to our home for the next 3 nights.
Hut 1 is equipped with indoor toilet so we did not have to freeze to relieve. Luckily, I brought a mini pop up lantern that we hung in the water closet because it was dark in there at night. I’m sure if we didn’t have one, they would have brought us something.
The hut was clean, the mattress were surprisingly comfortable and we were happy to see they had a protective cover on them. There was a cool top and a bin of dishes. A table and 7 fishing holes. Lighting was solar powered and we never had a problem of the juice running out. There were also plenty of chairs for guests or to use at the outdoor holes Al drilled for us for our tip ups.
They provided contact information and were available 24/hrs. Some of our party were very happy about that as they needed service at 11:30 pm and got it quickly!
Our group was large and the team even provided shuttle service between the huts so we could have big gathering on the shoal. A above and beyond expectation operators!
Glenn and his wife (on his day off) still came by the hut with homemade bread (tasted more like cake to me) yummy! No pressure to buy but it was so good we had to buy 4 loafs in our hut alone.
This operator was attentive, welcoming, helpful, friendly and courteous. I would recommend them for your next northern fishing event.
Even though our hut caught no walleye (we saw them on the camera so they were there - ps. they are camera shy so don’t use one if you want to catch one), the sunrises and sunsets can’t be beat. The bass and pike I caught were delicious!
