I am a bit late with this review. We were here at Medcalf Acres at end of August 2025. It was a great time! Hooter was there to greet us, giving us a bag of ice and some wood and leading us to our site. They have a game room and plenty to offer in their store. The grounds are well maintained. Cell service and WiFi were great. We stayed right by the volleyball net and if we had stayed through the weekend we would’ve had front row seats to their live music they offer each weekend! They also had a plethora of activities on the weekend! Check out a photo below of their schedule they had for Labor Day weekend! Good to know for coming years so we can enjoy that. I would recommend this campground to anyone!
We really enjoyed the campground! Nicely wooded with tall pines! We have a 30' 5th wheel and got a pull-through site... plenty of room! Mike and Jim were awesome, very helpful and pleasant! Will definitely go back!
Overall a welcoming campground my only complaint would be the distance to the electrical hook up however the neighbor loaned me an extension cord and the office loaned us an adapter
This place is amazing. Karl sold me on the plane over the phone and I am so happy we booked our campsite here. We will be back! The staff is amazing and super helpful and friendly!

Nothing short of amazing. Great place for the family including the furry family members. The grounds are always maintained and clean. Service is great. Everyone who works there treats you like family. Will be seasonal next season moving forward.

The bathrooms and showers were the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground, I had an opportunity to meet and talk with the staff and the cleaning staff were so nice and so helpful.

The worst camp ground ever. sites are on top of each other mostly seasonal campers. looks like a place to store your junk, old tarps hanging and dirty. Had to follow a girl in a golf cart to find our site you can’t just drive in. No security. we left they kept our money😩😡

Love this place!!! Stayed here for 4th of July weekend and had a blast The owner is one of the coolest people I met He takes pride in his campground So much to do here Mini golf, pool, great little beach on the river With access to bring your kayaks down to the water AC/DC cover band played 2 nights He had a cancellation with another band Owner arranged for the AC/DC cover band to play an extra night So we wouldn't be without a band that night He really bends over backwards To make you happy We had such a blast We booked the rest of the season Never done that before We even locked into next year to A great experience for wife, my to puppies & 1
Specifically since we had a bad crash with camper & the owner really cared about our safety and showed concern When he saw the damage Never experienced an owner this great at any of the campgrounds we stayed at We have stayed at a lot of them Some for a month at a time & by far Karl is the best one we have met and i look forward to hanging out with him & the rest of the staff On our new adventure
Great wooded camp sites With lots of shade They also have so many other events and activities on the weekends Bands every weekend, DJs, & even paint and sip
The best of all It's close to Lake George So you can enjoy all that goes on in Lake George but be able to get away from the craziness and relax at the campground poolside with a cold beverage

Laughing at the bad reviews! This has been the most enjoyable experience for our family here at Warrensburg Travel Park. Everything is so clean, orderly, beautiful and fun. The owners and staff are so nice, accommodating and a great sense of humor- we just love it here! It's genuinely the best spot for a family with all the activities on the weekend, Fun themes, clean pool, gorgeous river beach and bands on Saturday nights! We spend most of our time at the basketball court, fishing and enjoying the very short ride to Lake George! We are so happy with this campground!

I stayed at this campsite last week, for an entire week! Carl made it an incredible stay for me. I did have to move a few times (because I didn’t make a reservation) and Carl was able to get the other kind staff (two gentlemen) to move it for me instead of packing up! The women there are incredibly sweet, showed me around and talked to me multiple times! Overall, I had such a great time. Thank you, Carl, and everyone else!!! I can’t wait to go back! There’s so much to do here, it’s a great atmosphere, location and there’s always fun stuff going on from art to concerts! I couldn’t have had a better time. See you soon Carl and others :

Awesome Memorial Day weekend camping with family and friends. So much to do and the bands were awesome. So many updates since last season. Thank you, Karl and staff for making our stay enjoyable and relaxing!! We will see you when we come back in July!!!!

We parked our camper for the season over the weekend. The staff was amazing and helpful. The owner even check-in with us to make sure we had all we needed. Our daughter is on a vent at night and he wanted to make sure we had a generator in case there were power outages. So kind, so helpful so clean! This summer is going to be amazing.

Karl the owner very helpful and nice to get along with. My family and cousins family stayed the end of Aug into Sept, he opened up the two tent sites for us even though he didn't have to. Love it

Not a bad place but consists of a lot of long term campers as is evident from the decks and fridges around the existing campers. Sites seem well maintained and the area is nice. Didn't use the shower house. Dumping at the camp site 69 was a bit challenging as the pipe was in the ground at an angle.
Family friendly and best campground all around! Dogs are welcome, too! Weekends are filed wth so many great activities for kids of all ages! We've looked at many others, and nothing compares to this campground, on the beautiful Schroon River!

Attended the balloonfest and stayed here, what a cute place. Arrived Thursday and it was so peaceful and clean. Highly recommend site #200…We enjoyed watching the beavers at sunset, and the beach had lots of tree frogs! Friday night came around and what a change…kids were screaming at the top of their lungs at 10:40pm, no regard for others or the quiet time. Didn’t get much sleep so we decided to head home early on Saturday. Would I stay again? Yes…during the week…Thursday was perfect…

Sorry for your inconvenience. Those loud people who had been warned will be leaving the campground for good Saturday morning. We do not allow such disrespect from them to their neighbors who also were not happy. We want a safe & quiet environment for all campers.

We had a great time at Medcalf Acres Campground on the Schroon River. The team there is very helpful and accommodating. We especially thank Mike for his help in guiding us to our site and expertly guided us in, as well as being available for any needed help during our stay - he even moved us over one spot from our reserved spot to a beautiful site overlooking the river. It takes a short while to get acclimated as the campground is heavily seasonal campers. Camping in September meant it was very nicely quiet during a weekday and even into the weekend.
Have been a seasonal camper for almost 10 years. Glad to be here. Employees are always very helpful and accommodating. Especially Hooter ( Jim) and Mike
