He proactively reached out to me over the subsequent days, and ultimately determined that he would need to come out and do further work (all for the same price, mind you). He went above and beyond during that second visit to get everything running smoothly again - I mean literally above and beyond given that he climbed up into a tiny crawl space above my closet! Professional, a good communicator, solid work. Great experience!

Lio is the gold standard for HVAC repair. I called him in a crisis and in fear of a fire hazard. Without even taking a dime from me he took his time to evaluate a video I sent by phone. He diagnosed the repair immediately and in order to save me a possible large expense he offered a temporary fix that would buy me some time until the hot summer. Electrical burning smell coming from HVAC system, late in the afternoon. Called a couple places; none could come until the following day. Called LC Heating & Air Conditioning and spoke to Leo. He said he would send a technician.
Within a couple hours Edan arrived. He diagnosed the problem (overheating transformer) and replaced the transformer as well as two capacitors that were very weak.
Edan was knowledgeable and thorough in assessing and fixing the problem. Would definitely use him and LC Heating and Air Conditioning again.

This is a long overdue review for Leo and his company! In August, last summer, I had a house full of guests, in 95 degree heat and the AC blew out! I am a recovering fire victim from the Eaton Fire and so much had already gone wrong last year, so I was completely overwhelmed and stressed. I called Leo around 11pm and he actually came out at midnight to help me. Midnight!!!
I'm from NY and when I heard that familiar accent, I was relieved because I just knew he would be honest with me and I could trust him. We went up on my roof, in the pitch black dark of the night (since we are one of the few homes that survived and there were no street lights yet). After thoroughly testing everything, he told me the compressor needed to be replaced...but because my unit was over 13 years old, it was going to be difficult to find the replacement, not to mention expensive.
He truly had compassion for my situation and instead of replacing the compressor, he found me an amazing deal on a brand new condenser with a 10yr warranty for half the price of what a new one would cost. He guaranteed that if we had any issues with it, to just call him.
Today, I did call him at 8am and he was here at 3pm! Same day! I thought something was wrong with the HVAC because cold air was coming out instead of heat this morning, but after checking everything, he told me the unit was actually fine and explained that condensers go through a defrost mode sometimes, when the weather is colder. I felt bad, but he was completely understanding and only charged me a very reasonable service fee, unlike some of the local HVAC companies that give you an appointment fof a week out and then charge you a lot more just to walk in the door...plus labor!
I truly appreciate the extent that Leo goes to in order to make his customers happy and earn their business. Don't think twice, call Leo at LC Heating and Air! He will take care of you!
