Lekkere en originele tapas/gerechten
Intieme sfeer met lichtjes en kaarsen.

A lovely charming little resturant. It has an intimate and moody feel to it. We absolutely loved the food and the cocktails were to die for! Our host was very friendly and gave us recommendations for live music in the area. The only thing of note was that we were waiting a little while for our order to be taken. Would highly recommend and hope to return next time we visit Barcelona :)

First I would like to thank the staff for helping us make a reservation for 9 people at the last minute. The atmosphere and food was fantastic. We ordered almost everything on the menu and it was all above our expectations. I believe there are multiple locations in and around the gothic quarter. Be sure to stop by if you are in the area. Best meal we had in Barcelona hands down!

Tapas like, small dishes. Fusion, and good drinks. The humus and lamb was the crowd favourite. The Catalina potatoes were good too.

The food was amazing, the service was wonderful with the staff being very welcoming and attentive. They had interesting delicious takes on classic tapas and some that I hadn’t seen before

This is a cozy bar with Tapas and good mixed drinks. The house vermouth is great. The service is friendly and food unique and delicious.

An absolute gem hidden away in the heart of Barcelona. There are multiple other La Alcoba restaurants located on the same street, all with similar ambiance and slightly varied menus. We chose El Bandoler because it was the only one of them with available seating. The ambiance of this place is truly something special - especially if you get seated in the little back room like we did. Very cozy and tavern-like. Our waiter was very kind and the service was good - obviously with tapas it’s not going to be a super quick meal but the service wasn’t slow by any means. The food was good - I recommend the cheese board, Iberian ham, and bulgar hummus. I also tried the eggplant sandwich, which had great flavors but was a tad mushy. Still, I’m a pescatarian and it’s a good option for plant-based eaters. My mom got wine and really enjoyed it. I got a mojito and it was extremely sweet - too sweet for my taste, but if you like sweet drinks that’s the way to go. Overall it was a very good experience and we enjoyed our evening spent with El Bandoler.

Tapas are not good. Service is horrible. Waited forever for food. Mojitos were so sour, not sure how they got the 4.9. And it’s pricey

The staff was really friendly, drinks were affordable and good, place was clean.
However, the dishes felt uninspired, potatoes were bland, their sauces not coordinated. The (tiny) pork tacos were barely edible, overcooked and rubbery, as well as unseasoned.

Polecam

There is only one waiter at this tiny, intimate bar/restaurant, and he made us feel good with his attentive and kind attitude. Food was good. Clientele came from all over the world.
I felt bad for 2 sets of texting Americans who came and left because they were not immediately given menus, poured ice water in their glasses, and served pre-cooked and warmed food. This isn’t TGIF. This is an establishment with probably one chef and certainly only one bartender/waiter. Patrons would do well to sit back, soak in, and enjoy the dimly-lit, friendly, and old-world meets art ambience.
