Well well well!!! Where do I start? I have been training at kaizen MMA since 2010! Yes for the last 16 years. Kaizen MMA is not just a Gym I go to!! It goes way beyond that! It’s a way of life… First of all. If you are serious about leaning Martial arts, getting in shape, becoming confident and stronger mentally and physically you got to give it a try! You won’t be disappointed. I am not just saying that .. it is the truth. At kaizen you will learn how to fight! How to protect yourself and people you care about. You can learn Boxing, Kick boxing, Muay Thai, Jujutsu, Wresting and MMA. Basically you can master all kinds of martial arts and self defense. Furthermore, I have met a lot of amazing coaches with many years of experience in fighting and teaching. For example Coach Gustavo for boxing is above and beyond!!! You can learn a lot from him… Besides that what I love the most in Kaizen MMA is the diversity of the fighters. Literally there are fighters from every corner of the world. So training with them will make you learn from them, and that is very important. Because you will be able to adapt with any fighting style in case you are competing or just fighting in general. There are fighters from Japan! Brazil! Serbia! Egypt! Morocco! China! Thailand! Many many different fighters from different backgrounds and areas. Also!!! We have an amazing head coach! It’s Sensei Nima! He has dedicated his life in martial arts! Not only teaching adults but also there are kids classes where they can come and improve themselves enormously. To sum up! Seriously!!! If you are looking for a gym to learn and improve. This is the place!!! You Shoud not miss it. You will thank me for that. I love Kaizen MMA!!! And I have met many many people there. I have made many good friends there and made a great relationship with them. And that’s because we all share a huge respect to this DOJO!!! And to our amazing Coach and leader Sensei Nima ✊✊✊ Thank you Sensei for all what you do for The fighters in DMV area. Thank you for who you are. OSS!!!!!!

I have been a student at Kaizen since moving to the area in July. From the beginning I was very impressed with the caliber of training, instruction and camaraderie shared by the team. Sensei Nima, Liam Panero, Coach Gustavo, Jacob and Eduardo are absolute professionals and amazing instructors. There’s a huge variety of classes for students of all age groups, experience levels, and goals. Highly recommend for anyone looking to either begin their martial arts journey or seasoned professionals looking for a home team in the DMV.

We were so fortunate to start sending our 5 year old to Kaizen after school. Its affordable, structured, and safe. The camps and coverage for school closures are very useful and open more hours than public options. The "dojo" is free of distractions, no screens present, and the kids exercise, learn self-confidence and discipline, and get to play games too!

Great gym and a great place to be in, I'm a world class wrestler and a professional Mixed Martial Artist. There are very knowledgeable and experienced coaches at this gym and they all willingly push and help you in any direction. They work with kids from 3_4 years old to adults from beginners to pros. Was a nice experience training in terms of Boxing. You have a week trial to try any of the martial arts. Sessions consisted of teaming up with a partner and practicing combinations. Boxing Instructor broke the reasons behind said combinations. Explained the positioning and sweet science pretty well!
