Looved the light show! And it's free! There's even a grassy area where you can lie down and watch.
My partner and I visited this building last week, hoping to see some brilliant views from atop a really tall Tokyo building; and we're so glad that we chose to come here for that! The views were brilliant, and it's easily one of the best free experiences that we had in Japan during our 2-week visit. But I also wanted to make special mention of the staff, too. They were all so welcoming, helpful, and professional! Thanks for having us!
平成時代を象徴する東京の顔。
かつては、知る人ぞ知る無料の穴場展望台でしたが、インバウンドで平日でも大行列。
ただ、北側の展望台は、入り口が南に比べて分かりにくい場所にあること、そして景観的にベイブリッジや東京Towerが見えないことから、現在も比較的空いています。
ベイブリッジ方面を見るなら、もっと良い展望台があるので、個人的にはあえて北側の展望台をチョイスすることをオススメします。
中野サンプラザや多摩エリアが一番はっきり見える展望台はここだと思います。

Great views if your visiting for the tower views but this time we went for the light projections in the central court, it was spectacular to watch. There were heaps of seats and wasnt crowded at all, the shows run for 15 minutes at half hour intervals, well worth going to see.
