Hands down the ONLY dentist I want to see. I became a client of Dr. Peterson many years ago, but since moving away, I hadn’t been there in a very long time. Sadly, I had several bad experiences with other dentists and out of sheer desperation for good care, I decided it was worth the 2.5hrs to get there. I’m grateful that Dr. Peterson agreed to see me again and my first visit back confirmed my suspicions about another dentist’s diagnosis. He literally SAVED me from spending $6k on work I didn’t even need done! He and his staff are all very knowledgeable and if you do your research, you’ll see he’s a clinical instructor and has been teaching for many years. In addition to his exceptional knowledge of dentistry, I have always enjoyed his bedside manner and ability to connect with me. He listens to every detail and checks to see if he understands what I said. If you want to skip the painful process of trying to weed through all the dime-a-dozen dentists and go straight to the top dog, go here. They tell you straight-up what it’s going to take to get your teeth the way you wish they were.

As a retired dentist I am very selective regarding my dentist and their team. Dr. Peterson and team are superb.

Buyer beware. I had an exam at Modern Dentistry and was given a detailed report that estimated my cost of necessary treatment would be over $6,000. I saw two other dentists for second opinions without telling them about Mod Dem's analysis and both dentists told me my teeth were in excellent condition and no work needed to be done. The staff was nice so they get a star for that. But this is wrong in so many ways. Watch out.

Always a gentle and thorough cleaning. Exam was complete and I am more comfortable after a slight adjustment of my crown!

Staff is Friendly, efficient, professional, knowledgeable with up to date equipment and procedures. Their explanation and guidance on my treatment plan was great, plus the waiting area is clean & comfortable . Overall I highly recommend Modern Dentistry.

I have not completed my care at MD yet so this is what I experienced so far: Wow. Beverly the dental hygienist is superb! She made all of my fears around cleanings go away. She made me so comfortable, explained everything clearly and there was a lot to be explained. She anticipated my every need and was 'on it' before I was. My teeth have never been this clean. I can not express enough how professional and thorough and kind Beverly was during my visit. She is THE BEST!

Although everyone was really friendly, I was a bit upset that it was not made clear when I scheduled the appointment for a dental cleaning that they have two types of first time appointments, which are dental cleaning or oral exam. This is the first time, a dentist office actually splits these up. They've always been combined in any other office I've been to. So, be aware when you make your appointments. Although I specifically asked for a dental cleaning, I was scheduled for an oral exam. Misunderstandings happen, and due to a cancelation I was able to get the cleaning done at the same time of my oral exam. Otherwise they would have scheduled me for another day, which would not have been okay since I work full-time. Other than that, I can't complain. Everything was done very thoroughly, and Dr. Peterson appears to be a great dentist.

On my initial visit to the dentistry, I was very impressed by everyone I came into contact with. Their professionalism, their communication about options and costs, and the facility itself were excellent.

All the staff was very pleasant and professional. Dr Peterson was very nice and great at explaining things. Tiffany performed and very nice gentle teeth cleaning. Overall a wonderful experience!

Tiffany my dental hygienist is always very professional and painless. The front desk staff is always helpful and willing to help the patient with any insurance or billing issues. Absolutely the best in North Kitsap in my humble opinion.
