Great spot for breakfast. Amazing food for great price. That one guy working there is so chill, he told us not to use the iPhone weather app and gave us a full weather forecast for the next few days so I could live out my “jet ski dreams” in the best conditions. The sandwich was bomb🔥

My favorite Greek restaurant on Crete (note it’s not Moroccan food - Koush Koush means chit-chat in Greek).
Stunning views, kind and caring service, the food was absolutely incredible. I ate at Kous Kous three days during my stay in Chania and wish I could take it home with me! Try the burrata, oven lamb, and seafood linguine.

Siamo stati a cena, hanno una piccola terrazza e abbiamo cenato con la vista del porto. Locale curato, personale simpatico e disponibile. I piatti erano gustosi, ben presentati e saporiti; pesce fresco e ingredienti di qualità. Ci hanno anche offerto un dolce a fine pasto e la raki. Complimenti!

Good value on the harbor
Kous Kous has tables right above Nea Chora harbor, but unfortunately it was so windy that we had to settle for a table on the promenade for our dinner. Both of us had the tsigariasto, a generous serving of tender, tasty lamb. We each had a glass of good bottled red wine to accompany our food. Our friendly waiter recommended their chocolate mousse for dessert. It was delicious, and far too big a portion to finish (at least for me!). There were only a few guests at Kous Kous that evening, which is a pity, because both the food and service were very good, and the prices are reasonable.
We had lunch at Kous Kous and had a fantastic experience. We had the sea brass (perfectly fried) and the tuna souvlaki. It was possible to switch the couscous for some salad. The service was very nice, personal and attentive while not being intrusive. The quality of the food was amazing. We were especially blown away by the truffle chocolate presented complimentary at the end. We highly recommend visiting Kous Kous. Not only is it a great deal (good food, appropriate portions, fair prices), the overall experience was so nice and the concept felt surprisingly passionate for such a touristy area.
Final thoughts: It feels like someone wanted to take a different approach than the other restaurants, without economical need since you surely could sell less sophisticated food for a similar price (as most other restaurants in the city do). Very much appreciated!

Food was delicious, but portions were extremely small. You pay for some very expensive appetizers, rather than main courses!
Wine was rather bland even though the waiter highly recommended it. Possibly a gimmick. We’ll never know.

What an amazing experience. The food was one of the best we had at the island.
I got the cabbage stuffed with seafood- I still think about how good it was. My husband got the slow cooked lamb and he was very satisfied with the dish.

Sardines grillées aux tomates fraîches légèrement relevées délicieuses, poulpe, (tarama et oignons frits) parfaitement cuit. Xorta au noisettes torréfiées pointe de crème de mangue… un blanc minéral Petali cuisine tellement soignée, tellement bonne !

Don’t be fooled by the location just because this place is lined up with a bunch of touristy same same Greek places. Kous Kous is a real gourmet restaurant at a reasonable price.
