I’m really disappointed with Montessori Children Center. They charge a premium by using the “Montessori” name, but they do not follow true Montessori practices in the classroom. Many of the teachers are not trained or certified in Montessori education. It feels misleading and more like a marketing tactic than a genuine Montessori environment. Overall, it’s definitely not worth the money.
MCC has amazing, super experienced teachers who just get how to encourage kids and help them shine. It’s totally family-oriented and everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The school is pretty "no frills," but don't let that fool you. They are all about providing a strong foundation. When we switched our kid from another daycare, he just thrived at this school!
And can we talk about their graduation ceremony? It was genuinely top-notch! The kids had learned several cultural songs and dances, and seeing them perform was just the best. It's the kind of place that really builds confidence and a love for learning.

I’ve been so impressed with MCC. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, and truly dedicated to supporting every student. Our children’s teachers, Mrs. Fatima and Mrs. Tela, are amazing—so loving and committed to their students (my little one absolutely adores them!). They contribute so much to early development, which is so essential for future success. They really set a positive tone for the school, and the whole team is always there to help.
Mrs. Absi, the director, is fantastic. She’s always been incredibly supportive of us as parents and has a real sense of what’s going on with the students. It’s comforting to know that she’s got everything under control, and it gives me a real sense of security. Her leadership creates such a warm and positive environment for both students and staff.
Mrs. Lilian and Mrs. Ola are incredibly supportive, creative, and focused on the academic growth of the children. They truly care about each student’s development, and their energy makes the school such a special place.
I’ve seen consistent growth and progress in my children, and it’s clear that the school is focused on continuous improvement in everything they do. I also really appreciate how open and communicative they are with parents, always keeping me updated on my kids’ progress.
MCC does an incredible job balancing academic excellence with personal care, and I’m so happy with the environment they’ve created. I’d highly recommend MCC to any family looking for a school that genuinely cares about its students.

Initially this school was good but standards are really coming down.
They need to hire active staff who teaches alphabets and numbers to kids rather than who prefers to sit idle on chairs. Sitting idle on chairs is not going to benefit any kid in anyway.
Apart from that they also give more holidays to school which do not fall in line with public holidays.

This school is amazing. Our son was here from infant to two years old before we moved. They treated him and us like family, and they helped raise our son to be a moral kid, with a great attitude that is kind to others. My child has attended the Infant and Toddler 1 programs at Montessori Children's Center-Herndon and our experience has been phenomenal! This is a nurturing environment where children grow in all aspects of their development. Beginning as infants, children participate in circle time each morning and are exposed to a variety of concepts. As children grow into toddlerhood, they are taught to care for their environment by cleaning their space and pushing in their chair as well as for the people around them by using “please” and “thank you” in their interactions. Gross and fine motor skills are worked on at each developmental stage starting with tummy time to using a writing utensil by toddlerhood. Children develop their language skills through music, offered once a week in English and once a week in Spanish. Classrooms are arranged for materials and activities to be accessed by children independently. Children are provided an opportunity to participate in educational activities of personal choice, following the Montessori approach. Every day my child has been at Montessori Children's Center Herndon, I have been confident they are in excellent hands and they are in an enriched learning environment!

We have been at Montessori Children’s Center - Centreville for the past two years and could not be happier! Ms. Farhana and Ms. Indu are excellent teachers who care deeply about children and are passionate about learning and healthy growth. We were attending a different daycare before, but after switching to a Montessori I could not believe how much my son was learning! He is about to go into Kindergarten and he already knows how to read, do addition, subtraction, and multiplication. He learns about science, has Spanish and music classes, and goes on different kinds of field trips. The school is very safe. Ms. Rama is a wonderful principal who takes parent comments and suggestions seriously and acts on them quickly. We love the diversity and how many different cultural holidays are celebrated throughout the year. Wonderful school with wonderful teachers and staff. Highly recommend.
Our kids have thrived at MCC and are so excited to attend each day. The teachers and staff have created a nurturing environment with ample time for play, learning, and creativity. MCC is very well-run and communicative; importantly
for busy parents, drop-off and pickup are seamless. The teachers exhibit kindness and joy tirelessly, and I’m so thankful our kids can learn from them about what it means to be a good person. I highly recommend MCC!
Post Covid it was very hard to find a preschool that cared for the little ones to my expectation. Many of the teachers kept shuffling in the preschool where my elder child went. My second child needed more care and attention and a continuity of teacher to assess and teach him to his needs with lots of patience. After many research I found Montessori Children Center to be the right fit for him. The teachers took great care for him which helped him settle better and make learning progress over the years. We are so incredibly grateful for this Montessori preschool—it truly felt like a second home for our child. He enjoyed every aspect of his time there, from the rich educational curriculum to the wide range of co-curricular activities offered. In addition to the Montessori learning environment, the school provided Spanish classes as part of the curriculum, and offered optional activities like soccer, basketball, and even Bollywood dance—all of which added so much joy and variety to his experience.They also provided an amazing experience with the educational and fun filled field trips.
Although our child missed the public school cut-off date (September 30), he was so well-prepared through the kindergarten curriculum here that he was confidently accepted into 1st grade in the public school system. That speaks volumes about the dedication and effectiveness of the teachers and the Montessori approach.
The environment fostered self-directed learning, building confidence, independence, and curiosity in such a peaceful and supportive setting. The school also made learning joyful through well-organized celebrations like Thanksgiving, Halloween parades, Diwali, Father’s Day or Mother’s Day and many more all designed with a thoughtful educational purpose behind them.
Ms Smitha is amazingly a wonderful person, very supportive, welcoming and has always a smile on her face. The teachers are the heart of the school—super kind, patient, caring, and genuinely attuned to nurturing each child’s individuality. Ms Salmah was his classroom teacher along with Ms Manjeet and Ms Shelby. We are so very thankful to each one of them which can’t be expressed in few words. Ms Salmah, you will be forever in our heart. WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING!!!It was amazing to watch our son grow both academically and personally, all while having fun.
We couldn’t have asked for a better foundation for his early years. This school holds a very special place in our hearts.
