Listing was just as described. Very clean and friendly property management. The AC worked great and the location on Poipu Beach is incredible. The other reviews mentioning the rooster crowing is accurate, but no fault of the management companies. It woke us up but we went in with the expectation of it. There are a ton of roosters in Kauai especially, so I’d imagine that would be a common occurrence at most properties! It’s a two unit property, but feels private - with that being said, if you plan in advance and have a bigger group, renting both units would be a good move!

We loved our stay here! The unit had great AC and was in pristine condition. The lanai downstairs was a pleasant surprise and we spent many nights and mornings relaxing on the couches. With Poipu beach across the street, the location can’t be beat. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing stay! The unit is practically on the beach, which made everything super convenient, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The property had nice amenities (including a hot tub we didn’t get a chance to try), and the location near Brennecke’s Fish House was perfect for dining. We also loved the local chickens wandering around—just bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, a fantastic spot and highly recommend!

Walked to see the turtles and sunset every evening
Such a great location. Literally across the road from the beach. Nice, clean, updated apartment. It is a little noisy with the resident roosters crowing, but the provided earplugs were helpful and the beds comfy. Nice washer and dryer downstairs. Lots of gear you can borrow from the storage/laundry room. Small living area, kitchen and couch (different than in the photo), but it served our purposes. Loved being able to body surf at Brennecke and snorkel at Poipu within minutes. Four and a half stars!

This was a clean, well-stocked, comfortable condo, most suitable for a couple or small family. Its location across the street from the beach park is terrific. We appreciated the local snacks, coffee and cold drinks that welcomed us. Check-in hiccups were resolved quickly. On warm days the A/C and the shades on west-facing windows came in handy. The host provides earplugs in case the constant rooster chorus disturbs guests, and a garden hose to wash off the steps. We were pleased to talk with Kevin (?), one of the staff, who shared past unsuccessful and future (hopefully, successful) strategies to manage the community chicken flock's presence on the property.

There are so many great things about this rental. We loved being across the street from the best beach for kids on the island and a playground. The place is comfortable and clean and the air conditioning works great. We were so thankful for the laundry and the huge closet full of beach gear! The hot tub was so nice after swimming at the beach. The hosts were always responsive and helpful. All that being said, it is rough here for a light sleeper. Though earplugs are provided which is a nice touch, I couldn’t wear them because I have young children I need to hear. I think the feral animal population at this location is a bit out of control. Though there are roosters all over the island, the ones here do crow all day and all night. The feral cats yowl and fight loudly. Even with white noise machines it is very loud. If you can wear the ear plugs then you should rent without hesitation. It’s really an amazing space.

Perfect for a girls trip!! Host was outstanding! Location was perfect. Beds were super comfortable. Linens were clean and there were plenty. Ear plugs were a huge bonus for the early morning rooster calls, but we loved the experience of those noisy roosters. Would book AGAIN for sure and bring my family

The perfect location! Right across the street from Brennecke’s beach and Poipu beach. Any and everything you need for a beach day is located in a storage room, along with a washer and dryer.There were some issues-check in code not working, broken microwave, no pans or foil to reheat food in the oven. We were quickly helped to unlock the door and use items from the unit across the hall. The sofa was dirty and uncomfortable, but the beds were good quality.

Had a great stay! The place is in an unbeatable location for the south shore! Highlights: (1) the kitchen is pristine; (2) the garage is well supplied with quality beach gear; (3) the full-sized beds were super comfortable; (4) air conditioning and laundry were a godsend; (5) LOCATION, location, location. I chose this place because it had 5 stars even though it was a little out of budget. Based on the price, I will say this is not a 5-star place, but it is a 4.7-star place. The place could have used a cooler and some travel mugs to bring coffee to the beach, since you are so close. The couch needs an update (a couple years of sandy kids on white upholstery). The management company seems to work out of a garage just under the apartment. This wasn't an issue at all! It is just something I hadn't expected.

This place as great. So much that I don’t want anyone to know about it. It was a luxury to walk across the street and access Poipu Beach. The wagon came in handy for all the kid’s “stuff” and made the place enjoyable. We are already talking about booking again the next time we visit.

Cannot beat this location! We loved rolling across the street to the beach. The place was well equipped with everything you might need while there (umbrellas, wagon, chairs, boogie boards).Beds were comfy. Kitchen was somewhat equipped (coffee machine, toaster) but perhaps missing some of the essentials to make it easy to throw down a proper meal.

Nicely remodeled 2 bdrm in a great location!
The interior of the 2 bdrm unit of this house seems to be recently remodeled and in great shape. Kitchen was well equipted and beds were comfortable. The unit has ceiling fans and AC. We opted for ceiling fans and open windows, at least until the island roosters started ramping up. At that point, we just closed windows and used some white noise on our phones. Wild chickens are ubiquitous on Kauai and quite vocal, even before sunrise. Our family of 4 was comfortable in the space and really enjoyed the proximity to the beaches and restaurants. We barely used our car for the 3 days we were at this unit. We did enjoy the hot tub one evening after snorkeling with the turtles.
