I absolutely love Kolm. The staff are the loveliest and liveliest. The high vibes nights have excellent music taste and community, the slow vibes nights have a relaxing ambiance and I’ve found the other guests are always respectful of the silent sessions. The sauna is massive and it never feels too crowded. It’s always impeccably clean (showers, sauna, bathrooms, cold tubs) and in general you can tell the space is well taken care of. I have the 4 sessions a month membership and I feel I get immense value out of it. I’ve entirely replaced Friday night plans with their late night sessions. Best way to end the week! Also, honorable mention to Sushi Tendo which is down the block. Something about the sauna + sushi after combo is 🫦🤌🏼

Lesley is such a beautiful soul; she guides you so well with a fantastic playlist that really helps you relax. Cannot comment on services as I was refused entry after being 5 minutes late from an hour long drive… what I can say is the parking is a particular obstacle to being on time; and the fact I have to wait for a manager to be emailed to rectify a refund when they are causing problems and not me… well that says it all. To be clear this was a guided class with multiple sauna entry points and I was willing to miss my own sauna time to wait for second sauna entry to respect everyone else involved. Non refundable money wasted on parking, and pretty crappy policies by the sauna place. They went as far to say “I should have known, as they called me” while I was driving - I do not pick up distractions when operating a vehicle at highway speeds. This was all after I had directly texted them an hour before the start to let them know I would be 5 minutes late. Apparently they are also unable to pick up a phone and call their manager…? Okay. Leaving on the basis that I will magically get digitally refunded…? Can’t say I’m counting on it. UPDATE: after respectful follow up (on my part), apparently I should be grateful I haven’t incurred an extra fee on my account…? I can’t make it any more clear that I will not be returning to this business and an account credit is not sufficient. I don’t want my money reinforcing businesses that borrow cultural identity while discarding the relational values associated with it.

What I love about kolm. It is a great place to unwind and relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I brought a friend that never done a cold plunge before he says wow I have to bring my wife here. It is so relaxing. It sets the tone for the rest of the day for me. I feel so at peace.

Silent self-guided with healing sounds session: It was an amazing one. I didn't feel so relaxed in a very long time, and haven't slept that long for a very very long time. My insomnia is one of the heaviest burden in my life currently. So thank you for the proper sleep after yesterday's session.

checking in 12+ months after my first review. the sauna/cold plunge landscape has changed in vancouver since then. there are more options than ever before and i've tried them all. many of them have had the opportunity to build on kolm's strengths but NONE have been able to. the environment, the people, the music. the experience cannot be beat. KOLM is still on top. this is the best sauna and cold plunge experience in the city.

Stu is the best for guided sessions 🙌. The ambience with the changing colors and scents in the sauna is something I've never experienced before and really elevates the experience. Only thing is I wish they had at one slightly warmer option for the cold plunge 😅

This is a must-try while in Vancouver. I experienced the Through the Elements session, guided by the wonderful Kyra, and it was truly unforgettable. It was my first time trying contrast therapy, and I was definitely nervous, especially about the cold portion. Kyra’s guidance, encouragement, and genuine passion for what she does made all the difference. She helped me move past the nerves and fully enjoy the experience from start to finish. The space itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt intentional and welcoming. Thank you, Kyra, and thank you, Kolm. I’m officially a fan and will absolutely be back.

I visited Kolm for the first time this week and had an amazing experience. From the moment you enter the space, there was a calming energy, which is exactly what I needed after a busy day at work. Kolm has a communal locker space, complete with several change rooms and showers, which at first I was a little confused by as I hadn't seen something like this before, but the longer I was in the space, the stronger sense of community I felt, and I understood the purpose behind the welcoming layout. Going into the lounge space, sauna, and cold plunges was very enjoyable. While in these space, the guides circulate and are available should you need them. They also frequently enter the sauna to add new scents and waft them around the space. The cold plunge was COLD, but by round 3 I felt like a veteran. Tea is also offered in the lounge space, which was a lovely perk! As I was there, I gained knowledge of cool events they offer such as singles night, after hours, as well as various guided sessions. I can't wait to return to try the different options. I also learned that you can get a two week pass for $99 for first time clients! Thank you Kolm, my guides, and Savannah for the wonderful experience! I am looking forward to my next visit to Kolm.

Dayna’s guided session was nothing short of a spiritual experience. Her voice, demeanour, and prompts brought me to a mental and physical space I have never achieved when doing a Nordic circuit. I loved every second of it and will be sure to return with more friends. Thank you, both Dayna and the Kolm staff, for such a wonderful experience!
