Was told I would get a call giving a three hour window for collection the day before , I did not. Called at 11:30 on day of collection, was told they would get back to me. At 1pm they told me they would collect it within two hours. By 4pm I called back as no sign of them, and was told they would be here within the hour. They arrived at 5pm, so I wasted my whole day waiting when I could have worked. I escalated a complaint to the complaints department. I never heard anything. Only reason I am giving two stars is because the actual collection people were nice. Update : The day after I wrote this I was called by Valerie, she looked into it and was lovely and organised a partial refund for the trouble on the day. I’m happy with the resolution and hope going forward to have better communication re time frames.

Excellent customer service Got on to Kollect the day before we needed two large sofas disposed of. Replied to my email straight away and they managed to fit us in the next day to take them for us. Great customer service!

Worst Experience Ever I had a worst worst experience with kollect.. I will never recommend this to anyone. I have booked for a skip bag and payed for the money. The skip bag is sitting on my parking till the date. I called the customer care thrice, they first promised me it will be collected 3 days before and no one show. Then they promised today still no show. Utter failure of a service. The skip bag is sitting on my parking from last 11days..

The lads worked very hard and had the place mostly cleared out in about an hour. I cannot fault how efficient and hard working they were. Edit: I did have some issues but Valerie reached out make things right. I have to say it was great customer service and after care to reach out come to a solution. They really do care about the service they offer and if you have issues they will listen and do what they can to make things right.

Johnny and his colleague emptied the last items from my late parents house. A very traumatising and emotional event for me, but the lads were the ultimate professionals. They treated my late parents furniture like it was made of gold, treating it all with the utmost respect and care. I highly recommend Johnny and Kollect.

I used Kollect a year or so ago and they let me down pretty badly with collection - I was left with rubbish outside my home across Xmas. They compensated me with complimentary service at the time. I gave them another go and couldn't regret it more. They were the most expensive option for a 4cy skip but promised prompt delivery so I went with them. However the skip was not delivered at the agreed time or date and communication was extremely poor. Now it's the same story for collection, no show for collection on the agreed date and no communication on why or when it will occur. Kollect subcontract the job out to other providers and add a fee so you are better working directly with a skip hire company for better price and more direct lines of communication. If you are happy to pay more and delivery and collection dates are no big deal to you, Kollect might be a good choice. However if you are busy trying to fit things in between work and you don't like getting charged more, I'd probably look at an alternative like A1 skips who are much more professional and reliable.
