Con artists. Do not use Kollect. They took money on transaction, rung to confirm delivery and then the day before rung to say the skip would be delivered 4 days after the confirmed date. Customer service lied on phone to cover tracks with their manager later saying he shouldn’t have done that. No alternatives proposed, no apology, and overall extremely rude communication by their teams on what they finally said was a logistics error. Still waiting on refund, got a text from a non-business mobile asking for my IBAN details to send money back. Skip companies I had to contact in emergency to find a skip from all confirmed that Kollect are a very untrustworthy company and that they actually only call local companies after taking customers money to try secure skips and always take a large premium versus direct prices.

Would not recommend this service at all. Ordered a 14-tonne skip but was delivered a standard one instead. When I contacted them, the customer support was extremely unhelpful, and despite multiple promises of a callback, no one ever followed up. I had to keep chasing them, which was very frustrating. Ultimately, I was charged €400 for a skip that wasn’t what I needed. Later, they suggested paying another €400 for another standard skip when the 14-tonne one I originally ordered would have been sufficient for my needs at €580. Felt overcharged and poorly treated.

Could not have been easier. Called to book, selected appropriate date and time. Got a call to say they would be arriving within the hour. Arrived spot on time. Emptied the skip room and all other rubbish within a half hour and off they went. Nice guys, too. The price was predicated on the volume of waste and we agreed on the square meterage before they left. Paid over the phone - job done!

Recently I had.a few bulky items (range cooker, mattresses etc.) for recycling and I used Kollect to come and take them away. The lads came on time, did what was needed to be done in an efficient, helpful and friendly manner. The service couldn't be faulted and when next I need to hire men with a van, I'll be calling Kollect.

My job was bed frame disassembly and mattress removal.
They took away everything and worked neatly

I’ll be honest, I was very sceptical at first, mid terrace house, needed a shed plus other things removed… I dreaded the idea of having to dismantle shed and carry through house, more so it would probably have ended with a funeral (my partners)!!! So I bit the bullet and booked Kollect….. took photos of everything, explained my dilemma…. What dilemma, they’d dismantle shed no bother and remove everything…. Through house! I cleared everything to one side in house and Darren & his assistant arrived at 1245 and within hour had EVERYTHING done and dusted!!! They were efficient, and prepared - so obliging and saved my relationship. I had never heard of Kollect before that week, would I recommend them 100%, - I can’t compliment the service enough, 10 star! Thank you so much.
