There's so much more to great comedy than just the people on stage.
1. It's in the perfect location; 100m from town hall station, or Goulburn Street for cheap all night parking.
2. The Venue itself is designed for the experience; its a large private space on the third floor with it's own bar and toilets, so you can keep the drinks coming without missing a beat.
3. The Venue staff are wonderful. Bartenders in Sydney have this habit of giving you the third degree but here they treat you like family.
4. The host (Simon) greets you with a warm smile and a genuine energy that tells you, this guy loves being here, and he loves making the crowd happy.
At this point the comedians could all miss the mark and I'd still concede I had a good night. The show starts and I'm dying with laughter from start to finish. There's something about live comedy you just miss with Netflix.
If you're on the fence about taking a gamble on this show, I hope this review has been helpful. Do yourself a favour and give it a go.
